This is terrible. The messages on the Internet forum giving him advice on how to pull this off are chilling. My heart goes out to the families and friends of the victims. :(

^^^^^^^ Good info link, Arch ^^^^^^^^^^

I was aghast. Some thought he was joking, others egged him on.
If you go to that thread today that he was in, hundreds have since posted in it to bask in the "glory" of its infamy it has brought. It's revolting.

Morning Star, thanks for his details... Cops have been so restrictive with his identity.

    Also found this...

This is so reprehensible I do not have a thing to say about it. Having said that, I'll say this; May the victims of this senseless crime Rest In Peace. May their murderer get the justice that he deserves and let it be without the fanfare. Next the pro-gun people will circle the wagons and think that their guns are going to be taken away from them.

    RIP. A damn shame.

Of course we won't know everything right away, but I'm wondering if Obama will dig deeper and see if this guy was mind fucked rather everything being the gun's fault.

The sheriff, who is in charge of investigating the shooting, was on cnn .

The anchor asked him about a letter he wrote to biden about gun laws.

He stated in that letter ge wouldnt enforce the gun laws cause it violated constitutional rights.

Radical Solution: Give handguns to every teacher

Radical Solution: Give handguns to every teacher with training to prevent large mass killings. Police can't arrive fast enough to prevent this. The only solution is to arm Teachers. What say you?

Just because you have a gun doesn't mean you have a clean shot.

After the smoke clears they'd be just as many teacher's bullets in students than shooters.

Precisely. Blaming access to guns is faulty, because his own home town has the strictest gun laws in the US and yet 50 were shot this weekend and 45 last weekend.

The NSA, for all its intrusiveness, can't even stop this guy from following through on his public online threats.

What Obama needs to hone on is why, when a homicidal, suicidal madman warns people to stay away from his upcoming slaughter, others egg him on.

This is the root problem. Humans with absolute disregard for life. What's driving it, how has it allowed to grow and fester.

How has it gotten that men we raise to protect society have become men who destroy our society. It's like there is no desire or pride to be respectful, helpful, honorable gatekeepers of being an American man anymore. Everyone wants to be a smart ass, an asshole, an agitator a mass shooter when life bugs them.

Are we missing the signs. Have we dropped the ball? We focus so much on women's emotional states and well being, do we really know the emotional depths of men, and have just muted them to the point that violence is their only outlet?

(* Disclaimer, clearly not speaking in absolutes, just about the current wave of those bent on destruction)

Armed guards and metal detectors at every school entrance

If Teachers can't do it then: Cost prohibitive but:

Armed guards and metal detectors at every school entrance in the U.S.

A police state for every school.

What happens if the armed guards start killing students?

The people who do these mass shootings do them in places were they know they will get a high body count. If we suddenly started arming teachers, the killers will just adjust their tactics. Instead of school campuses, they will start shooting on buses or sports stadiums.

I think one factor to consider is something the killer said on social media. He mentioned something about how mass shooters become instantly famous.

I think the media should stop naming these killers. The same way we do with rape victims and under-age criminals. We should deny them their "fame".

The devil needs a coat cause i agree with flame.
Heck a teacher may accidentally shoot themselves in a nonhostile situation just as the atf agent did during his visit at an elementary classroom.

I'm betting since Obama is on his way out, he'll ignore the mental health part of it. That's some whole other shit to dive into. When a mass shooting happens and someone asks "what's wrong with people these days?" and someone else responds "guns is what's wrong". Motherfucker, they asked what's wrong with people.

You've got people shooting up places because they were picked on in school, didn't fit in, girl's weren't into them etc. These people leave behind letters, pictures and Facebook posts giving quite a few hints or even straight up explanations and everyone else decides not to analyze it and completely ignore it unless race is a factor or can be made into a factor. Even then, it takes a backseat.

It does seem to be true that a generation of weaker men are being raised since these dudes can't handle hard times in life. How many of these shooters were raised on "you hit me, I hit you back/go down swinging/don't let someone make you feel like less of a man/walk with a purpose".........or "use your words/tell the teacher/tell them their words don't hurt you/shit that won't let you be aggressive at times"? I have no idea, but it seems like the non-aggressive sensitive shit gets taught more these days as we try to become more kumbayah as a society.
