I like to do my part and try to keep the ladies around.

 

I blame it on the media. Look at all that's gone on. My most urgent concern is about what Ben Carson was saying about black people in regards to Abortion and Planned Parenthood. I don't think I should create a thread about it because someone would start calling me names or easily get angry.

I also think the forums activity went down because of the dysfunctional element of people of all races in our society.

 

I think the forum is fine. There aren't so many fights. It doesn't scare away new people. Look how many new people have joined within the Month. :smt042
yes less fights does mean boring but It has been so long since it has been like this.

 

I agree. The nonstop fighting gets really old after a while. There's nothing wrong with a discussion here and there as long as they don't take over entire threads and then spill over into the forums as a whole.

IMO, it seems whenever many (not all, but many) difficult, nuanced, or complex topics are discussed, numerous posters devolve very quickly into factions who feel that they need to insult and take pot shots at those who think and feel differently than they do instead of debating the issue at hand. Thus certain topics, and discussions quickly turn ugly, not at all informative, and end up with both sides reporting what they feel are offending posts to the webmaster and the thread getting shut down.

 

I left because of all the drama and would check back every once in a while and it was always the same drama happening. It's refreshing to be here at this point without the drama. Maybe we're all just getting older and have given up on the fighting.

Well to that person, go thru the forum and look thru to find some. also, u could makes some of your own. Why wait on someone else.

To my friend who left me the unsigned rep...if you know anything about my forum browsing/enjoyment you would know my least favourite part of this forum is the posting your picture/posting your lingerie/post your nakedness on here. I think there's a lot of people that enjoy having their egos stroked/people who are given bs compliments because people are being nice (I am not one to comment on anyone's looks). I am the first to admit I'm very average and have no need for fake forum input that being said yes I did indeed post the "curve of my ass picture" and no it wasn't for comments/compliments. It was posted in a joking matter because of comments made.

I personally do miss the Canadian guy that used to stir the pot and say Certain things that hurt people's feelings because he would say it like it was and wasn't into butt kissing. I found him hilarious and have no idea what his nickname is now but the kid always had negative rep. I think there's a difference between being a jerk and upsetting everyone and showing a difference in opinion! Me personally, if I disagree I tend to just keep it quiet vs arguing because there's zero point it turns into something much more than it needs to and I have better things to do in my life than argue on the net
