Wow just read that this Ashley Maddison has over 40million users, that's a lot of marriages or broken hearts.

Kind of sign that traditional marriage doesn't seem to work.

The numbers certainly do seem to indicate that.

All a bit depressing though, I feel for the unknowing partners, it's the deceit that kills relationships. Knowing someone has lied to your face in order to get their ends away.

One person is still enough for me, looks like I'm a dying breed.

The Panda's of the relationship world aren't gonna do well with this lol

This Ashley Madison thing only confirms what I've been saying all along; most people are only as monogamous as their options. So, if you're looking for a serious relationship, try to only get involved with, what I call, naturally monogamous people. In other words, people who really only date one person at a time. They don't like seeing two or more people at once. It just doesn't sit well with them. They don't subscribe to the spaghetti theory of dating (throw a bunch of potential at a wall to see what sticks).

If you have to have "the talk" with them about being monogamous, you should probably move on. Sure, anyone can cheat, but you'd be better served by working the odds in your favor.

Or that millions of people aren't getting their needs met in their marriages.

More people than we'd like to believe aren't getting what they think they need or want from their partners, and if it's just sex that's lacking, that relationship has a problem.

If the majority of the members on AshleyMadison are on that site just for a purely sexual hookup, I'd love to know what the problem is in their relationships.

    Boredom??
    Lack of sexual chemistry??

Lack of interest from one partner??

I wouldn't want my woman to creep on me because the sex wasn't right, but I can understand why others go that route.

When your man would rather play gold on Saturday afternoons than sexing his wife, whose fault is that??

There have already been a couple suicides attributed to the AshleyMadison hack.

We all have our own morality, but I think it's really shitty that someone hacked a site like that out of pure spite with the intent to ruin lives.

So like I said a sign that traditional marriage just doesn't work. Anything else with a 50/50 chance of failure would be considered a failure.

I still think a kid is better off if his or her parents were married at some point.

So they can see dishonesty and resentment first hand? lol

No children should be brought in as participants in their parents' relationship.
A child can't see resentment or dishonesty.

One day mommy and daddy are a couple. One day they aren't.
    Kids don't need the details.

It's irresponsible for any parents to bring their kids into their marital issues.

I had no idea really why my parents divorced until almost 3 decades later.
