To be fair I agree with dude because what ever his kid might catch yours won't have to worry about because they're vaccinated. I'm of the mind to let the ignorant and self destructive fuck up their lives as long as their shitty actions don't mess with me and mine.

Well, that is the problem, it does . not all people can be vaccinated and for that very reason, We need all people that cen be vaccinated to do so, or people will die unessesarily of diseases these asshats forgotten. IF You had a relative or child that could not be vaccinated. You would be beyond pisses IF they died of a disease that they got from your neighbor kid because they think its their decission. Disease We have curbed because of vaccines are coming back because fucking idiots forgotten what these disease caused

IF You dont want your kid vaccinated, fine. Then fucking homeshool them and dont let them play with other kids. Even IF they are vaccinated, they Can bring it home to that baby that isnt old enough to be vaccinated, or that familymember that cant be vaccinated.

And with You, i mean the general You, not tdk:)

I got that, it really makes you think about personal freedom. What if vaccination in fact does lead to some diseases you wouldn't get if not for them and what if an individual isn't at risk for polio, the mumps, rubella etc for whatever genetic reason. Should they have take a vaccination to protect others even though it may be adverse to them?

Your personal freedom to swing your arm, ends where my nose begins. You know this. Personal freedom comes with responsibility!!!!

We have solid evidence that vaccines does not lead to any disease and the only way to know You are not at risk for these disease is t o be vaccinated, duh. How do You know otherwise? Unless your a hermit . You are never " not åt risk" unless your fellow man take responsibility and get vaccinated. We have many decades of research and its not detrimental, its a million times more detrimental to get these diseases. I dont get the shortsighted argument, the chances of either dying or be handicapped for life far, far ,far , by a million times outweight the theoretical issue with negative effects of vaccines. You wanna bring back all these diseases that people died of, got disfigured, or handicapped because theoretical 1 in a million quadrillion could have som side effect? While We are åt it, lets stop all medications because it can be detrimental to somebody, fuck the vast majority. Lets ban advil! People die from anafylactic shock!! Lets bring back the black plauge!! Gee, your are way smarter than this. Google Penn and Teller on the subject of vaccines. Does a bang up job. Dont be a nutcase

No need to name call little one just playing Devil's Advocate. And as far as medications there are a lot of studies to support the very parasitic nature of drug companies to cause more harm than good to create a solid profit structure. Where ever there is money involved the public good ALWAYS takes a backseat to profit.

So many people not vaccinating these days, hence the re-emergence of previously near eradicated childhood diseases measles and mumps having a comeback here.

Plus being vaccinated does not guarantee you won't contract the disease, just that if you do the effects won't be so life threatening so if these non vaccine parents think they can ride off our kids they are just stupid.

My partners elder teenage girls aren't vaccinated and they go to an inner city school :( their mother decided against it, which meant when the baby was 10months or so I was nervous about them being around her as she hadn't had her MMR and wasn't scheduled until 13 months old, I explained to the Dr and the nurse and they decided to do it a little earlier than usual because of where the girls lived.

Parents also opting for separate jabs which are proven to be less effective than combined jabs.

The whole Autism and MMR myth is still running rife here.

I think it should be mandatory to immunise your child if you plan on letting that child socialise and attend school.
So I suppose I must be a communist as well then lol

Which is really sad because that "study" was debunked years ago. I look at the vaccines cause autism people the same way I look at flat earthers. Sometimes science is just science.

Makes me think of those parents who "leave everything in the hands of the Lord" as their kid is coughing up a lung.

This guy also thinks that Hitler "poisoned" the water of the Jewish ghettos and concentration camps with Fluoride to keep prisoners, etc docile and lower their IQ points.

I'm currently gathering scientifically proven articles online to refute both of his claims.

One can only hope he'll stop drinking that kool-aid when faced with enough scientifically valid proof that his claims are based on false information.

To be fair to conspiracy theorists some of it is bullshit but unfortunately a lot it isnt. We've all seen certain factions put profit above everything they are willing to see millions of lives destroyed if it means billions I'm profits. Does anyone know why we ever went to Iraq?

If you do that then you become part of the conspiracy because "they" got to you, too. Watch out for the rabbit hole!

I'm all for conspiracy theorists. I think that what they bring out into the light is important, but the one thing to remember is you have to look at the reliability of their sources and source materials.

I LOVE learning about conspiracy theories, but most I take with a grain of salt, because most are just out there to scare people unnecessarily.

I watched a 60 Minutes episode which answered this question:

    http://www.cbsnews.com/news/faulty-intel-source-curve-ball-revealed/

Asked how important Curve Ball was in taking us to war in Iraq, Drumheller tells Simon, "If they had not had Curve Ball they would have probably found something else. 'Cause there was a great determination to do it. But going to war in Iraq, under the circumstances we did, Curve Ball was the absolutely essential case."

How did Rafid Alwan become Curve Ball? 60 Minutes' investigation led us to Germany, where in November 1999, Alwan arrived by car and requested asylum at a refugee center outside Nuremberg. The 32-year-old told German intelligence that he was a chemical engineer in Saddam's Iraq, and that he had done so well in university he had been made director of a site at Djerf al Nadaf, just outside Baghdad. The Iraqis called it a "seed purification plant." In reality, he said, the place was secretly making mobile biological weapons.

He told the Germans specially-equipped trucks made their way to one end of a warehouse, entered doors there, hooked up to hoses and pumps and brewed biological agents. The germ trucks then exited hidden doors on the other side.

Alwan's story fit what Western intelligence agencies feared: that Saddam might turn to mobile weapons to evade American bombs. The Germans hid Alwan in Nuremberg, then later in the town of Erlangen. He was given a code name: Curve Ball. He was interrogated once a week, sometimes twice, for a year and a half. He told the Germans he didn't want to meet with Americans. Only summaries of his debriefings were transmitted to Washington. Still, there were enough details to convince analysts at the CIA.

What is scary about this entire thing was that this guy was not vetted in any way. Three governments took this guy at his word without checking out his story.

Like Drumheller says, it likely wouldn't have mattered if this guy showed up telling his tall tales or not, as there was quite a determination to get into Iraq and they would have found another reason.

Excellent points. I've already been "accused" of sharing an article about vaccinations on Facebook that my friend and his roommate said was "backed by big pharma".

    So crazy.

I'm trying to find non-government websites to share with them.

It's funny... I actually work in the immunization world but more on the education & training, immunization tracking, DiD policy and program management, and vaccine research.

Nowadays, I work more on the side of program management and administration, however I used to fight the good fight fight of autism and other adverse events and their correlation to vaccinations for years.

It breaks my heart that people don't immunize their children and they rely on various you points that can be found all over the Internet rather than making educated and informed decisions that are based off of facts, data and science.
