I've read that he'll likely get at least 10 years in prison.

Just because the prosecution has agreed to not ask for more than 12 1/2 years does not mean the federal judge will abide by that.

This is a moot point until he's been sentenced.

 

It looks like the deal is done per below, even if he did do 10 years, the average sentence for his charges is north of 16 years, so he would still be getting off light.


"The agreement released by prosecutors said Fogle agrees to pay $1.4 million in restitution to 14 minor victims, who will each receive $100,000. He will also be required to register as a sex offender and undergo treatment for sexual disorders.
The government agreed not to seek a sentence of more than 12 1/2 years in prison, and Fogle agreed not to ask for less than five years, according to court documents.
Federal judges have wide discretion in sentencing. The child-porn charge carries a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison. The count involving sex with a minor is punishable by up to 30 years."

 

Is he eligible for parole?

If he is eligible for parole, he can be back on the streets in 5 years.

Dog the Bounty Hunter made a sincere effort to apologize for his "moment". And he was forgiven. But in the case of the Duggar family, child molestation, even though the victims were family members, is not forgivable.The image that Josh portrayed was a God fearing family man. Responsible. Respectable. Now he a lecherous horn dog. If Someone is stupid enough to get Josh on television again, it would be a reality show that centers on him sharing a house with Jared.

 

Do any of you remember the arrest of actor Jeffrey Jones? Jones was making kiddie pornhub when he was arrested. He did a few months in jail for it. He reappeared on the HBO series Deadwood. I guess he was forgiven for what he did, or the producers just decided to give Jones a chance.

 

I had to Google him because I didn't recognize the name but now that I know who he is...I had no idea he was even arrested for that.

Also, Deadwood was amazing. I was always sad that show ended so early.

 

There are recent rumors that there will be a Deadwood movie to give the series the wrap up it deserves, amazing writing in that show.

Deadwood was a great show. Ian McShane'd character and Timothy Oliphant's character were in a fight and a stagecoach arrives. McShane's character was about to kill Oliphant's character. He stops and says to the passengers, "WELCOME TO FUCKING DEADWOOD! It can be combative." The last line was not intended to be spoken because it was noted on the script. McShane caught up in the scene, simpl y threw it out there as an ironic touch.

 

Was flipping channels this weekend and caught a commercial on TLC.

They gonna have a 3 part special with the Duggar daughters who just got married on their opinions on what just happened with their brother.

Looks like TLC is desperate to bring back their money maker.
