The point was relevant because he was talking about babies being born with citizenship. Obama had a father that was not a citizen. If medullaslashin had placed his idea in, he would deal with a republican congress that would love a chance to get Obama out of the white house. Another person proposed that if you are not born to american citizens then you should not be a citizen. This law of course would conflict with the if you were born to one american then you are american. This would eventually be challenged by republicans because surprise surprise they don't want Obama as president.(Donald trump thinks he is born in Kenya!!!!! He is ahead in the poles)

That statement is not clear and I think that people would challenge Obama on it. The current laws are even more clear and people still attempted to challenge him. He has changed it so that it is more clear.

To me, it has always been take the kid with you or let someone else with legal residency take care of the child until you can come back.
