Stuff like this is why I laugh when some white people claim that minorities are joining together against them. Most racism I ever experienced came from other "POC", You can't trust anyone no matter the skin tone.

Flame has a valid point, Blks are the most hated groups. Non white groups migrate to Amerikkka easily, assimilate and turned around and hate on blks...just the way it is

The majority of the folks on the site understand that, and none of us are dismissing that fact. It's hard to deny the truth of something when it's experienced or witnessed firsthand in so many of our lives. It still doesn't change the fact that other groups are also victims of racism and hatred, or that any & all forms of racism and hatred are wrong regardless of what group the victim(s) belong to.

Yes, our society is screwed up and strongly committed to its denial where racism, especially toward black people, is concerned. I wish I knew what it would take to make this country truly acknowledge and address racism for a change, so the real healing could finally begin. I don't know what the solution is, but I do know that hate is NOT the answer.

Where is anyone here "dismissing the truth" or "not seeing or want to deal with said truth?"

Some of ya'll are so caught up in your own frustration and anger with society and how it treats black people to the the point that you're quick to think and react to anyone else not expressing the same level of "concern" or "understanding" about what's what in society that you come off sounding just as ignorant as (and in certain cases acting like) the very elements in society that you think you're enlightening everyone else on.

All I'm getting from Flame, which you guys seem to dismiss as angry ranting, is that we as black people are quick to include and embrace everyone. In my entire life I have yet to see black people as a group and as a culture look down on anyone unless it was other black people for having darker skin. Yet as a group we embrace and love every other ethnic group who come from caste systems that all and out hate people who look like us. Everyone from Indians to Latins to Asians have a culture that looks down on brown and its further reinforced and encouraged here when they arrive as immigrants. Flame's delivery is crass and mostly offensive but dude is accurate.
If you need evidence look at the all out genocides in south Asia and The Dominican Republic right now.
How can we heal thing by ignoring it exists?

I repeat: Where are YOU getting this shit that anyone here is ignoring the legitimate hatred and racism perpetrated by other minority groups???

So because some of us are saying don't go down the same ignorant and hateful path as the very people some of you self absorbed geniuses are trying to "enlighten" us about we are "ignoring" it??

A lot of them hate way before they assimilate. They've got issues with black people before they get off the boat or cross the border illegally.

^THIS. Most of the overt, in-your-face racism that I've dealt with has come from non-whites.

Because you are conflating the two. Telling people to pay attention to and be wary of people who have a cultural and historical hatred of you is not the same thing as them hating you for simply existing. There's nothing ignorant or hateful about it its paying attention to the facts.

What have I told you about trying to insult my intelligence? You haven't answered a damn thing. You've done your usual spin shit where it sounds good to YOU.

And for the record most people dismiss Flaming's posts as nothing more than angry ranting because that's just what it is. All emotion and reaction. Same with Blacktigers postings. Dude comings up in here more times than not sounding exactly like an angry white dude that hates black people or at the most a black person wishing he weren't. But I digress because that's just how he comes across to me...

You're "angry" because you're precious people of color don't want to sing Kumbaya with your Black ass.

Black folks know that better than anybody.

Save that for the people of color...and your own people.

    Regarding immigration:

Even the lowly single-celled organism knows to protect its inner systems and resources from outsiders. Even an amoeba knows that. This country should also.

Whether you're illegal from Russia, Nigeria, China or Mexico, illegal is illegal. Illegals serve only ONE good purpose: cheap labor for corporate overlords. (Overlords who typically support politics centered on hate against poor and black people.)

...And illegals come with a whole lot of downsides, not the least of which is their scorn/envy of black folk.

What's more, it's LAUGHABLE when illegals call people who just want to uphold the law "racists". Fact is, it's racist as HELL to want to bend the law just because the people who break the law LOOK LIKE YOU and are RELATED TO YOU. The people who support the illegals are mostly in fact racist themselves.

To the "idealists" who want to be soft on the illegals -- wait for the day that your kids can't get jobs in certain areas because spanish is required... or the day when your teenage sons can't walk through certain neighborhoods because jealous assholes with short-man complexes want to target them for fun.

It's frustrating to see black people soft on illegal immigration. I can almost understand why white people might be -- the illegals represent cheap labor, easy pussy, a race-wedge against blacks, and generally simple minds who worship their skin color as jeezus-like.

But black folk? The more of these unwashed, unthinking, envious illegals you have around you, the more frustrating your life and the lives of your children is going to be. You need to go live in a hispanic-majority area for a while and see for yourself.

Illegal is illegal. We all should be equally accountable to the law. That's something this country has been struggle with for hundreds of years, and still can't get it right.

I'm progressive politically, but can't help but observe that liberals seem to think that being a minority makes you an angel. Nonwhites in america are at least as hateful against black people as white people, if not moreso. It's not hateful to point that out either, because when you do you're commenting on stuff where the rubber meets the road -- how you can be expected to be treated just for showing up.

"Hate" is more like the nazis who will tell you that mexicans are "genetically inferior" and predisposed to criminality. It's NOT nazi -- just observant -- to know that mexican culture, from its religion on down, puts blacks at the rock-bottom. And damn right -- it's practical to take that information into account.

Are you so idealist that you go looking for your white girlfriends at redneck bars with confederate flags hanging out front? It's just as pie-eyed "idealist" stupid to campaign to let Mexican illegals set up shop in this country.

Despite the individual views of other people of color, who may very well be personally prejudiced, it doesn't erase the truth of the statement. And the same goes for forces seeking to foster anti-immigrant sentiment among people of African descent, even toward African immigrants. It's not about being friends with every person of color, but acknowledging economic and political obstacles to equal opportunity that impact all, even increasingly white workers as well.
