Grown people don't have an issue communicating. Ignorant people do. That's the difference. The Internet isnt to blame for the abundance for idiots, it just makes them more apparent. And I agree with the previous poster, men's discomfort with approaching women irl is far from new.
Well stated. Too many people can hide behind a computer but may not be able to build personal one on one relationships. Better stated not able to do it face to face. Online dating should be supplementary. Also kids arent going outside as much. You build socials playing with other kids playing outside.
Idk, online dating has brought together quite a few marriages in my circle of friends, fam and acquaintances. Seems to work for many! Allowing people who may otherwise never have met, to come together. As for the children thing...that's on the parents. There are, unfortunately, too many people who take a back seat approach to parenting. Lack of engagement and true participation in our kids lives. So sad. I can appreciate working hard to give my kids everything I can, but it should never replace my actual existence in their lives. Children don't raise themselves, they need guidance and healthy examples to mirror. If mom/dad is on their tush all night watching tv, chances are junior's doing the same.
Oh i agree on both. The web is a good supplement to dating but shouldbt be the only method. I just got one myself vut dudes need to work on their social skills. You see woman in the parking lot thats when u need to break into that parking lot pimping. "Hey gurl. Get with this playa from the himalayas"
Oh the parent thing is spot on. Thats just lazy parenting. Its ok for them to play video games but man come on.

A cell phone,lap top,or a tablet is no substitute for a woman. They are just a stepping stone. The young must realize that if there was a natural disaster or a web disaster they would had to communicate face to face.
