    Damn, my son's thirteen. His story is such a shame. My heart aches for his parents, having their baby taken from them so soon, and in this way...

    UPDATE:

    Cleveland gazebo where Tamir Rice was shot is to be dismantled and shipped to Chicago museum for display

    Family attorney Subodh Chandra has said Tamir's mother originally wanted the gazebo demolished as seeing it in her neighborhood was too painful.

    But she changed her mind as she came to understand its historic importance.

    Tamir's mother Samaria wanted the gazebo, located in the park at the Cudell Recreation Center, to become a symbol for what happened to him.

    Two local companies will be handling removal of the structure, which was piled with stuffed animals and flowers after Tamir's death.

    The structure will be on display at the Stony Island Arts Bank in Chicago.

    I can't imagine what it is like to have to bury your own child. It would destroy me.

    I find this creepy/disturbing, but then again, I felt uncomfortable about the preservation of where MLK was murdered. I guess I prefer celebrating someone's life and contribution more so than their death.
