Secret get-away spots?

I'm in desperate need for a vaca - beach obviously -- ideas? The gulf/caribbean/southern atlantic might be economically realistic for me but I'd still be curious if the Europeans/Asians/Africans/South Pacific Islanders have any special sweet spots they could tip me off to. One can always dream .... pics are always good for dreaming ....

 

Daytona Beach, Hollywood Beach, Pompano Beach, Haulover Beach(nude beach and the straight side is south of the McBride side). Miami South Beach(where the party is). It all depends on what you are looking for. Enjoy.

I wonder if I'll ever have enough money to visit lands near you. Maybe I only need to save up for a one way ticket. :-D

 

Savannah, Tybee Island, and Charleston are always beautiful. Since you're from the south and used to the ridiculous heat and humidity it shouldn't bother you too much lol. Why I don't ever visit those places more often is beyond me.

Or, if you want to save a few dollars, Beaufort is always nice. Great food, beautiful beaches, and it's a lot less touristy than Charleston or Savannah.

 

If you have a Costco membership, you should look into some of the last minute cruises.

I am planning to take a short 3 night cruise to Vancouver or Ensenada.

Those Floridians are lucky, sooo many ships leave from Miami and Ft. Lauderdale and go to some pretty cool places!
