    Cruelty at the highest level

Officials have been besieged. The world outcry has gotten louder.
Ten thousand dogs (and cats) - most stolen from homes and farmers, will be hung, boiled alive, torched alive, limbs amputated while alive...very depraved and sadistic.

There are many petitions available online that are ongoing, trying to stop the madness.

Unfortunately you could get every single person in the world to sign a petition and it wouldn't make a blind bit of difference China does what it wants and will brook no outside interference and they certainly couldn't care less what any country think of them.

They deal in Ivory and Rhino Tusk, they also don't sign up to world pollution strategies, unless it affects the country financially they really don't care.

Korea and other parts of Asia that do this really aren't into listening to others either.

So this is where that stereotype comes from...

Are people up in arms because of the inhumane treatment of the animals or the fact that they are eating the dog?

Did you see the pictures above? What do you think? Largely, these are pets that were stolen.

I personally have an issue with both, but mostly the cruel, unessesary treatment. One can claim its their culture, but the fact it that we in Europe ate horse meat until not long ago. That has stopped. Fois gras is recently forbidden in many places . somethingbelse i love, but no longer eat because of the treatment. we have made large improvements of poultry, cows etc even if that has a long way to go, it is largely improved in the last 20 years Just because " we have done it as long as we remember", doesn't mean it could be improved.

I loved horse meat, along with a lot of Europeans, but I no longer do, because we now know better. So can they.

Same way most Hindus feel when they see their first McDonalds.

It's not like dogs are some sacred godlike animal in Western culture.

I think most of us would be disgusted seeing a cow or chicken being slaughtered and cooked too.

That's one of the reason, why I don't like asians. Why they will never see a cent from me. I remember when Korea was asking for help and support by our Bernardiners to find hidden, burried people under their destroyed houses. Switzerland rejected and told them that they don't need the help of animals, especially trained dogs. The can grave themselves...just more polite as I do. And rightly so..
The other point is that they are selling shit products worldwide. I've seen in Guinèe that they sell stuff for a lot of money and the people got sick of it.

You can do nothing agains their brutally, bestial tortures

You know. why they torture animals? The reason is the adrenalin, the longer the death fight takes the more adrenaline is in the meat. It is softer, as they say.
Inhumane, yes. Torture, I would wish that people the same in return, honestly

Dogs aren't people so I don't know how Switzerland could deny helping Koreans buried alive in an earthquake.

However we all know that dogs are highly emotional animals and being boiled alive or burned to death is mental torture for them.

Domesticated dogs have evolved over thousands of years to be on an emotional wavelength similar to their human masters, and may be the most human like of all animals, in terms of cross species compatibility.

However we put to death MILLIONS of stray cats and dogs every year in this country.

They eat dogs in China and Korea.:smt069

There's some hypocrisy squeezed in there somewhere.

Dogs should help people that have nothing else in their mind than torturing them as much as possible? ok, everyone has its own opinion..
For me , a person without empathy for animals, doesn't have empathy for human beings..either you have it, or you don't. Not even their own people trust them or why do you think the Chinese buy so much baby Food in Germany that the Germans cannot produce enough for their own market?
