Indeed. So should the myth about there being more black men in prison than college and the one about AIDS being spread in the black community by "down low" men rather than women who let a random dude dump in them raw every other day and have no qualms about popping out bastard children so that they can get public assistance.

 

We did discuss it before AND it is something that needs to be brought up as much as possible. It's (past) time to get rid of all the bullshit mindsets out there regrading Black men and what they are about.

Everyone talks about being real and honest and all, but society in general sure doesn't do so when it comes to Black men.

The other day at the store,a 21 y/o Brother talked my ear off about how much he loved his family.
He spoke so well about his WIFE...she couldn't do nothing but put her head down and blush.

His children were adorable and well spoken.

All the while he was talking,I was thinking about the shitty stereotypes associated with BM.
