If it interests you, watch it. Fuck the reviews. There are quite a few films and TV shows that get crappy reviews that end up being quite enjoyable for what they are. And, of course the opposite is true.

If you're going to go by reviews it's best to find some reviewers who you mostly, but not all the time, agree with. That way you at least get a general idea if something is worth seeing to you.

Right! Haven't read the comic, but I've read about the premis. It seems very interesting and it makes sense. A lot of people are hating on it.

Of course, you know it's just temporary. The status quo will be back sooner or later. Same with Superman. For now, it's just a rather daring story line.

I'm really thinking of picking it up.

Jon Bernthal Cast As Punisher In Daredevil Season 2

For his next comic book television show, actor Jon Bernthal will find himself doling out some punishment.

That’s because Marvel Studios and Netflix have cast Bernthal as The Punisher for Daredevil’s second season. Bernthal, who famously played Shane on AMC’s The Walking Dead, will bring Frank Castle to life when Netflix’s hit Marvel series returns in 2016. When last viewers last saw Bernthal in The Walking Dead, he took a bullet from Carl Grimes after turning into a Walker. Looks like its time for some hard-earned payback for Bernthal. With announcement, Marvel also unveiled Daredevil's Season 2 Logo.



"Jon Bernthal brings an unmatched intensity to every role he takes on, with a potent blend of power, motivation and vulnerability that will connect with audiences,” Jeph Loeb, Marvel’s Head of Television, told Marvel.com. “Castle’s appearance will bring dramatic changes to the world of Matt Murdock and nothing will be the same.”

Marvel did not specify if the Punisher would be friend or foe to Daredevil in the Netflix series, but the bullet-riddled logo implies the latter. The two have always held a slightly adversarial relationship in the Comics, but have rarely been out-right enemies. But when more updates on Bernthal and The Punisher break, ComicBook.com will be the first to report it.

That's another month netflix gets my money!

Doctor Strange Movie Villain is.....

Deadline has learned definitively what role Chiwetel Ejiofor will play when he suits up for Doctor Strange, the Scott Derrickson-directed Marvel Studios film that will star Benedict Cumberbatch as the title character. Ejiofor, rumored to be joining the film, will play Baron Mordo, an enemy of Doctor Strange who first appeared in the comic Strange Tales in 1963.


Although he’s an enemy in the comics, don’t look for him to be necessarily a completely villainous character. Rather, he’s an amalgamation of characters culled from Doctor Strange‘s mythology. His isn't the first change-up in the film: Tilda Swinton’s The Ancient One character is another, as the movie has gender-swapped the Tibetan male sorcerer from the comics. Both Strange and Mordo were mentored by The Ancient One, but Mordo tried to kill his teacher. Scripted by Jon Spaihts, the film follows the story of the brilliant and arrogant neurosurgeon Doctor Stephen Strange who learns after a horrific car accident that his hands don’t hold the key to his powers. Instead, he discovers the hidden world of magic and alternate dimensions. Disney has set the film for release on November 4, 2016.
