Why does Hope Solo and John Bowlen get a pass?

Hope Solo allegedly involved with DUI and domestic violence only gets 30 days suspension for a recent DUI with Black husband. No punishment at all for supposed domestic violence against half-sister and her nephew from U.S. Federation Soccer League.

The same goes for son of Denver Broncos owner John Bowlen. Arrested for alleged recent domestic violence against female partner. Claiming 'He's the blood of the city", when trying to smooth over the incident in a 911 call.

Is it because they are famous and white? Black people in the same situation would have been kicked off the team and banned from the sport permanently.

Why ask questions you already know the answer to

If it makes you feel any better tho, Chris brown is a woman beater but everyone still loves him, OJ was found not guilty, and r Kelly likes children but probably still sells out wherever he performs

I think in Hope Solo's case it's not just race, but the fact that she's the best female goalie in the game and incredibly pretty. In addition, unless it involves children, the idea of women using violence against men is often treated with kid gloves by the media. Her first domestic violence incident with her husband made few ripples.

Sad but true on both counts. As a society we have to make sure that domestic violence is seen a unacceptable regardless of the gender of the assailant or the victim.

Even so, if that were a man doing that to another man he'd probably still face some punishment. When it comes to Solo, women's soccer is basically shrugging it's shoulders. Slamming a person's head into concrete and then fighting with police is something that shouldn't be taken lightly.

I bet it would be fun to tame her. Nothing like a physically fit sexy wild beast with passion, and spunk.

True enough, but this still makes her interesting. lol Seriously tho I have no idea what went on that night but it just seems like her nephew may have tested her at the wrong time. She was already pissed and drunk and with him being young and inexperienced in life he just didn't realize it was a good time to chill.

Not making excuses for her, sounds like she went over the edge. I'm just open to the possibility that it was time for her nephew to go to school that day.

Personally I wouldn't be so quick to call the cops to settle a family issue.

She's no joke. She had the guts to punch her big ass ex-NFL playing husband, too. She's either ballsy, mental or has a death wish.

If she was a guy, knocking his wife around, or a black person, regardless of gender, the police would probably still be kicking her ass.

That being said, I find her so hot that it's frightening. Lmao

True. This gender equality idea simply doesn't exist. I don't expect it to really. Personally I wouldn't fight a woman as if she were a dude or a family member as if it was a person in the street. At that point you either manage the situation or get out of it. For all I know her husband could have been fucking someone else, got caught and got punched. lol

If she is randomly violent seems like he would have enough sense to move on, or maybe not.

If she was really crazy I couldn't see myself staying with her for the long term. What I don't understand is how some guys deal with women that yell every time they get upset, too me that's worse than getting hit. If she is abusive I'm leaving. If she yells I'm leaving even sooner.
