Chet Haze (Tom Hanks son) says he has the right to use the "N" word because he's part of the black culture.

Tom Hanks' rapper son Chet Haze is being disrespectful to black people by throwing the n-word around ... so says a rapper friend of his who also happens to be black.

Scrilla King -- who has collaborated and performed with Chet in the past -- tells TMZ, he recently ended their 6-year friendship, because of Chet’s desire to use the n-word.

Scrilla says Chet’s black friends are very uncomfortable when Chet uses the word saying, "It's disrespectful. He thinks it's a joke."
He adds that Chet, "He wakes up thinking he can be black today and know what we go through. He doesn’t. I wake up black every day, he does not."

Scrilla thinks Chet owes the black community a public apology.
It's interesting ... Chet posted a video Tuesday in which he says using the n-word is "an unspoken thing between people who are friends and understand each other."

At least one of his friends (now ex-friend) doesn't understand Chet.

(CNN)Chester Hanks, son of actor Tom Hanks and actress Rita Wilson, is under fire for a series of Instagram posts in which he defends his use of the n-word.

The aspiring rapper, who also goes by the name Chet Haze, says he uses the racially charged word among his friends as part of his right to free speech.

"Hip-hop isn't about race. It's about the culture you identify with," Hanks said, adding that most people do not understand his position. In another video, he said the n-word is "an unspoken thing between people who are friends, who understand each other."

Hanks' Instagram account has been taken down, although others have posted screenshots of his comments.

That has not stopped a flood of criticism on social media

It's gotta be great to be rich and white. You be anything you want including black when you feel like it but as Paul Mooney says

It's almost like he has no fucking idea what the right to free speech even means. Why am I not surprised?

I got into debate with a conservative about people saying racial remarks. Some celeb made one and got heat. He asked about people losing their free speech to say what they want and be blasted for it.

My response he didnt lose his right....he didnt go to jail.

He was blasted by the public...its their rite to rebut...free speech. Free speech goes both ways.

He responded "they lost their jobs" .

I responded " free market. ...its a bitch"

It's always people who claim to love the Constitution who have no fucking idea how it works. The First Amendment doesn't protect people from the consequences of their actions. Want to say something racist/homophobic/bigoted? Go right ahead but don't surprised when peopel label you a racist, homophobe, or bigot.

I was bored so I looked up racial profiling/stop and frisk and other 'privileges' we can look forward to for being the wrong shade (systemic racism doesn't exist anymore right)

Then I see this bullshit where people adopt blackness....without all the risks that come with it....and I'm like

I'm sure that he has a very interesting explanation about that one. I don't think that even Eminem has been bold enough to say that.

He hasn't and he's be respectful and careful enough to never us that N word. He's also self aware enough to know he's part of hip hop culture but enjoys an unfair amount of support because of his blonde hair and blue eyes. It makes me respect so much more as a man.

    Waste of time.

In 10-20 years we'll hear this dummy apologize for how stupid and ignorant he was in his youth.

Black people are wrong when they say it. White folks who drop n-bombs are worse.

IMO this kid is airing out a fight he probably had with his dad and he's still refusing to admit his dad is right.

No way Tom Hanks lets his son drop nigga around the house and not confront him about it.

Rich kid with daddy issues trying to prove to pops he knows more than the old man.

Let him get knocked out once for saying the N-word and this fool will get his head cleared up.

If Eminem isn't using it, other White rappers should get a clue.

Fuck, I remember back in the day you could count the number of White rappers with any shine on one hand.

Now there's so many of them they have their own sub-genre in hip hop.:smt012
