I was,leaning more towards ethic whites being "white"
I know "black" people who are lighter than man many Turks, Greeks, Italians etc but they're black. So maybe since he's in the south where there are usually wasps his idea of whiteness is different

 

It can be really different in different areas for sure.

the difference as far as regions and experience is the level of racism and other demographic(eg...stop and frisk...thats up north. arabs and africans and hatians they are big here. seventh day adventist are big in the south)

koreans and other asians live here . its very diverse.

I would never claim to know what it is like to be a Black man anywhere. I do know what it's like to be an "ethnic" woman in all sorts of areas in the US and Europe. I have experienced being thought to be all sorts of different ethnicity and expected to understand/speak many different languages. Do you? How about I won't claim to know what it is for Black men and you don't claim to know what it is for others who may be looked at as different ethnicities? Just because it hasn't happened to you, doesn't mean it doesn't happen for others. Clearly on this very thread people started off by asking if those men pictured are actually Black.

You don't have a clue what I think as far as her or anyone else goes. I said my friend always thought she was white, I didn't say that. Personally, I think she looks like she could be many different things. Which of course does NOT agree with your opinion...so what.
