Back in the 70's, a certain brand made a kid look cool or gave the impression of making the wearer a fast runner.

We had something similar. I don't know what they were called. I'll have to ask my friend.

I still got them stuck on my teeth.

Remember siting outside the gas station offering to let strangers keep the change if they bought you alcohol.

Remember when a movie advertisement was short and the off screen narrator would end with either, "Don't miss(movie title)," or "Don't miss it" ?

Remember when The Wizard Of Oz and West Side Story used to play every spring on NBC? West Side Story was shown in two parts because of the film's running time.

I remember seeing Flashdance in the theater in the summer of 84. Jennifer was so cute and sexy in that film. Especially the dinner scene with Michael Nouri. I remember the scene where the dishwasher gets his stand up break and making Polish jokes. I was a little surprised because in Daytona, where I saw it , there was a lot of Polish people in the audience. I had read somewhere about her role in the film The Devil In A Blue Dress, she was well cast on that film(and so was Don Cheadle as Easy Rawlins' trigger happy and psychotic friend Mouse Alexander)that the love scene with Jennifer and Denzel almost didn't happen because of the fact that Jennifer looked more white than black. In the books by Roger Moseley, Easy sleeps with women of any race. But the studio was a little hesitant as the scene was presented. But it was shown briefly. She was on The L Word. The last film I had seen her in was The Grudge 2. She is still an attractive woman.
