Teenage boys and girls aren't that different, especially when it comes to sex. Hell, all of us went to high school, and every one of us knew girls who had sex willingly and voluntarily. Do y'all really think that teenage girls don't think about sex?

If a teacher that looked like Chris Hemsworth taught high school, there would be plenty of girls at any given school who would gladly have sex with him, from freshmen to seniors about to graduate and start college. But that still doesn't mean that he should be taking advantage of those opportunities..

Girls are totally different they attach emotion that boys don't. Most times girls are looking for a relationship dudes just want sex. It's rare to find girls who are down just for sex at that age. Sex is a means to get something "deeper" for most.
Ironically for boys a relationship is a a mean to get something less important.

That's a pretty big generalization. And even if their emotions are attached it doesn't mean that they can't still want to have sex. And what about girls who only want to have sex? Rare or not, they do actually exist. Genitalia aside, girls and women are capable of doing the same things that boys and men do, even if it's for slightly different reasons (although if you're a 32-year old woman having sex with 16-year old boy you're doing it for exactly the same reason as a 32-year old man having sex with a 16-year old girl).

The problem with the double standards in these kinds of sentences is exactly what Thump was saying above: treating women differently is tantamount to treating women like children.

Women and men, hot or not, should be held to the same standards.

Besides, this is more about a code of conduct and being in a position of trust and authority in the education system. Students and parents trust schools to educate and form children and teens into productive members of society. Nothing more. No one signs up their children for more than that.

Teachers get very close to students: they understand their differences and psyche almost as good as their parents. Sometimes, some teachers may find some budding students attractive, and they might possibly develop feelings, especially if they see them all the time...Sometimes. Maybe... or maybe not if they have a sense of responsibility.

Sometimes... The same applies the other way.

But that's where it should stop!

In Sweden, highschool is equivalent to university. Those have a set agenda throuout your education, not like university where you choose classes. The MBA, engineering and some others use the 'highschool' system.
