And want to see the I don't really give fuck version?
I don't play ball and kiss ass. I'm considered difficult because I challenge a lot of the slow kids and they hate feeling slow.
And some of you hold on to grudges like I killed someone you loved

For the same reasons Siegfried and Roy played with tigers....

On this forum as well as anywhere where people come together to converse and share ideas, some people's opinions will differ. Some will get upset and argue while others may just let it be. I think it depends on how much you are invested in the argument and how you feel about the person disagreeing with you.

I have been called "difficult", in everyday life, any time I raise awareness about a racially charged issue. And I think it is a very dismissive way of approaching someone who cares deeply about such issues and experiences. I am not saying that is why they are calling you difficult, but, I do understand the frustration of being called difficult when a person attempts to elaborate valid concerns.

I do believe, with some, people prefer the kind and gentle version of differing opinions as oppose to the cut and dry versions.

It could be a double edged sword. On one hand you minimize the eating disorders, but on the other hand the method of regulating health according to BMI is problematic because it is very inaccurate and a very old and dated system.

^This is the approach I tend to take even when I vehemently oppose what someone is saying (unless I suspect a troll or they are being a complete ass for an extended period of time, then I release the verbal Krakens). Everyone on here has their own style of communication and viewpoints. As frustrating as some may be to others, IMO its part of what makes this site interesting.

Disagreement/debate, especially on very difficult issues is critical, after-all....

"It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it." - Aristotle

"When these difficult Cases occur, they are difficult chiefly because while we have them under Consideration all the Reasons pro and con are not present to the Mind at the same time." - Ben Franklin
