You can get a license to carry in MI that will let you carry in Detroit. As long as you're over 21, not a felon and have been a Michigan resident for 6 months, you can easily get CCW / CPL permit. Take a safety class and you're golden. I've spent most of my life in the Detroit area and we had guns as long as I can remember. It's not hard to carry legally there.
http://uproxx.com/sports/2015/04/ke...n-fire-following-their-teams-final-four-loss/ Yet no one is calling them savages I wonder why? lol
They're a little too light for that label. Why, they're just indulging in a little youthful mischief is all. Just kids being kids and how dare you insinuate anything else. ...lol
Haha, very true, sir. I didn't factor the hoof tracks leading to capture. More excellent points. I don't feel safer with a nuke. But a nuke to me is like a plane... no control. I can at least have a fighting chance to control an ass with a gun trying to hurt me. And carjackers...the only thing I will say is today's carjackers shoot anyway. Too many ruthless bastids out here today.
Just an addum... 2 days ago, I was stuck in traffic on an exit ramp, and 2 cars in front of me, I see a man get out, furious and approach the car in front of me. He's screaming at the driver about "cutting him off back there". He appeared to spit and retract his arm like he was going to punch the driver. I'm watching this thinking "oh shit, something might go down here". So the man won't budge and continues to yell...the 4 young male occupants are saying nothing loud enough that I can hear. I instinctively felt I had to distract this angry driver so I tooted my horn (instantly regretting it)... More happened, but I tell this part only to point out that I feel that maniac would not have felt "confident" to get out in the first place if he thought they had a gun. (I also felt helpless without one after I realized how vulnerable I was as well.) Then I think, if he had a gun, maybe he would have shot at them when they cut him off earlier, because he was a hothead... and killed an occupant. Just don't know what to think.. Ugh...this national gun debate is so depressing.
Did anyone get killed outside of your mind? You posed a bunch of scenarios but no one got killed. Men are (as I am sure you know by now) full of hot air. As long you don't touch the other person conflict will not go beyond talk. Don't get me wrong... I'd love to go out there... but dude did the right thing. You sue for damages.
No one got killed because no guns were produced. Which lends to say Andreboba's argument, who feels guns should be banned, but then, there are many times a gun IS produced, which lends to mine in that guns are needed because of hotheads like him. Btw, not hot air in this case...this angry man gave chase. The ONLY reason he didn't catch them was because he got re-stuck in traffic. You see, traffic had started to slightly move and the driver decided to go back to his car... Now, either out of fear to not want to stick around to see if this angry man was going back to either get a gun or just drive off or not OR to shove it up the angry driver's ass for approaching them, the young driver suddenly backs up, almost hits my car, and screeches around the angry driver's car and takes off on the side ramp. The pissed driver got in his car and decided to give 'chase'.
(You added this while I was typing)...Wow...The angry guy here was similar but wasn't kicking (I'm pretty sure he spat on them)... This also appears to be a fender bender situation. Hope they called the cops first than just sit and record. That's more important, no?
Yes but no one got killed. You are posing what ifs. The boys handled it correctly. It often is how you handle things. That being said I agree with your point. You can't reason everyone out. I don't own a gun but there have been times where I have thought of buying one or a tazer. I'm just too concerned about overacting and killing someone. I think Andreboba would be correct if you could ban all guns... You can't all so I have to give you big props on what you did. a lot of people wouldn't have done anything.
Military police arrested him. He basically got a slap on the risk because the military wanted him gone and he wanted to be gone. He has some huge anger issues and they basically dropped him into society.
Who the hell told you that lie? You must have had a very tamed social life as a youth because if someone feels slighted or embarassed that's when they are most dangerous and it matters very little if the other person touches them. Bliss and I agree on very little but this is one thing we are in a 100% agreement, there are a shit ton of crazy mofos who have nothing to lose and will end your life as soon as look at you. Protect yourself, its your natural right as a living being in this world.
I have lived a tame life in suburbia.:smt081 For the most part, I've seen a lot of dudes talking crap and a fight never breaks out. may be different in NYC
That brawl at the Bronx Casino on Friday was started over someone pushing in line to get a drink. And did you see the video out of the Brooklyn teen girls jumping a 66 yr old man on a bus? Oh lawd, they were swinging on the bars to land kicks on him... WWE style.
If I didn't live in houston, I wouldn't have believed it. I've never seen that kind of stuff happen where I lived.
Last summer I had no lie a 5 foot, 80# Black teen female threaten to end my life because I asked her and her BF to quiet down and act like they'd been on public transportation before(subway). They were banging on the dividing windows between seats singing and rapping loud as fuck, higher than the sky, so I sized them up before I spoke thinking it might work by speaking in a respectful but stern tone of voice.:smt119 Next thing I heard was, 'Muthafucka you want me to END YO LIFE??' I never stood up, I was sitting about 7 seats away and asked her, 'you're going to kill me for asking you to be quiet??' I shook my head. SHe kept cussing her high little ass off until her less high BF dragged her crazy ass off at the next stop. I'm no hero and I'd already subconsciously assessed the potential threat situation before I spoke. Since I was roughly 20# bigger than she and her BF combined and they didn't look like they were packing, I went parental on em.:smt081 But if they had been a group of girls being loud instead of just two teen weedheads, I probably keep my mouth closed. Two teen boys instead of a girl and boy, I probably don't say shit, depending. If it was a group of teen boys, I'm the one who probably gets off at the next stop. Seriously, when I was a teen sometimes I got to loud in public with friends, but if an adult told us to keep it down, I would have. And none of my group would talk about taking somebody out. So many crazy kids out here today.
This one? A gun would have made it worse.. They are in a small environment. No one got killed though. The thing is when you bring in a gun you escalate up. The old man got ruffled but they are girls. not much harm. again don't get me wrong there is a time when you should have a gun. My concern is that some people can not evaluate a real life threat from a ruffle.
No I think those girls were going to mess with him any way. They are on that power trip that a man isn't going to hurt them. They are going to eventually meet the wrong man.
