Does Orlando have the best option for your major?

 

Orlando along the I-4 to Tampa thence southward along I-75 and around to SoFla (Dade to Palm Beach County) is a very different state from North Florida. I love it. IceMan808, I think you'll easily be able to find your niche once you get on the ground.

 

Yes, it does. I'm majoring in Audio Engineering with an emphasis in electronics. I could go to school up North, but I don't like the cold weather.

I read about flakka but it was in connection to a dude who tried to jump a fence lets just say that he became one with the fence.

How do you stop someone from just driving their boat onto Florida? No way the coast guard can catch it all.

I don't know anybody who wants to actually move back to New Jersey

I will say this tho.....they probably have the most national forest in close proximity to philly, if u like to RV, camp, explore nature

They got atlantic city too....but at the rate they're closing down the casinos, that town is going to be a dustbowl

 

The last time I heard anyone mention Atlantic City I was in elementary school. They must have a very specific market. My guess: Locals and a few people that are within 200 miles that dont like airplanes and a lot of 55 and older people who are somewhat familiar with the city or the notion of visiting.

I would imagine most of the investors there are just looking to find or collect from revenue streams and could care less about a long term vision. Any casino not looking good on the books today is probably on its way to being shut down, and only the well known and established casinos can expect to attract any capital at all.

 

New Jersey also has the Great Swamp(which I had visited when I was a kid) historical parks( George washington had a headquarters in Morristown, N.J.. Grovers Mills was the last minute choice for Orson Welles' Mercury Theater fro the Halloween broadcast of War Of The Worlds. The Leni Lenapi Indian tribe. The New Jersey Devil.Bruce Springsteen. The Sopranos. The changing of the seasons. Trees, lakes, streams, ponds, rivers and the Jersey Shore. The list goes on. People in the Garden State take things as they are and will find other things to entertain them.

 

I've been checking out the national forests/parks online for a while

I'd like to visit eventually..all city people should do that at some point in time

Yes, sure they could have been more discreet, but maybe some therapy for their exhibitionist issues, instead? A fine? Community Service? How would a stiff jail term benefit anyone.

 

Wow - they should have taken a deal rather than taken it to trial.

 

I read today that they were basing it off of the eyewitness testimony of a three year-old and that it was only described as "moving on top of her in a sexual manner". Haven't read that anyone saw actual penetration. Sounds like a case of heavy petting or "clothes burning" (I'm dating myself with that phrase, lol) to me.
