See, thinking, logical, well reasoned adults can separate a person's views from their methods if those methods are useful. Kind of like how white culture doesn't like black people but loves to exploit our creations for their betterment.

The reason I included Gandhi was because his method was what King and the Non- Violent Movement used as their template. They effectively extracted the racist from the actions and come up with winning strategy. You know, the very same strategy that led to the destruction of Jim Crow and paved the way for your ignorant ass to be able to openly proclaim your love of white women. Which, I doubt you do. You are right, TDK. No great leader does things alone. But, it often takes a great leader to galvanize disparate talents and opinions and finally get things done.

Whether we're talking about King, Gandhi, Hitler or Steve Jobs. These men were leaders who knew how to make people reach higher then they would normally have alone.

The iPhone wasn't really so advanced when it came out. All of the components existed already. Microsoft had done touch interfaces years before. But, Steve Jobs was the only who put it all together and something that revolutionized how we communicate.

He probably didn't write a line of code or solder a circuit board. But, he was the one who got it done.

Movements often need leaders or they fade away. It's just how humans are programmed.
