    I think most cultures on the planet view women as the property of men, and once you strip someone of their essential humanity, doing what you will with them is a given.

    Whilst I can certainly understand the critics' POV, I applaud India for trying this out and at least doing SOMETHING to help keep women safe.

    Baby steps...

    I haven't really kept up on the research. I'm not sure.

    When official just underneath the PM say shit like "boys will be boys", I won't expect much change anytime soon. This needs to be taken seriously at the highest level, which it isn't.

    The shit that comes outta peoples mouths

    In other news...Australia pulled grand theft auto 5 from some retailers because it enables violence against women...and well violence against women is kind of a big deal

    They believe these games are reinforcing negative behavior among boys
