There's nothing wrong with doing you.......it's just when biracial/mixed people willfully dismiss/disown their black side because they ain't built to handle shit...that's what causes the drama

You've got to be shitting me...

Yeah, my great grandma's grandfather was a slave rape before the Civil War ended and she was pale too. But that master wasn't telling him he was white.

Hey I got a neg rep just for saying 'nice sig'

It was a hefty ding in my rep points too....so it had to be a frequent contributor with a Motrin-sized issue of cramps

I had one of those before. I think those are when the person who wants to rep you doesn't have enough muscle to do that. The neg reps are actually red, I think.

Naw. That's neutral rep left by someone with no actual rep points. Unless they left some comment indicating their like or dislike it's basically not getting any rep either way.

Did you ever see that film about the woman in South Africa who was born of two outwardly white parents and had to be legally declared white? The part was played by Sophie Okonedo ( I love her).

This woman is actually biracial and culturally Jewish, yet most strangers would assume she's Black.

I have a hard time believing the girl in the documentary grew up her entire life unaware she's kinda Black. Her parents did her a disservice.

Denver has a huge Jewish community...it is not unusual for many of the women to have very dark curly hair and a tanner skintone...very thick unibrow (eyebrows) when i look at the girl in the OP post...she looks bi racial to me...

i recently connected on FB with an old friend from high school...she has a biracial daughter...her daughter looks exactly like her mom with just dark curly hair and tan skin...

i guess it depends if the father's (bm) features are dominant...

    it's not porn...so they aren't happy:smt025 i actually think it's a good story!

it brings to light the quandry that i'm sure many biracial kids identify themselves

Mizrahi Jews (and the occasional Sephardic) are the only Jews I have seen who could maybe be confused with biracial kids. Ashkenazi Jews tend to be the majority that I encounter and they're generally German, Polish or Ukrainian/Russian and as white as Germans.

I knew a cute American Indian girl in high school, too. I asked her out and she said no(by way of a friend of ours who explained to me that she was afraid )because she knew that people in town were prejudiced and were opposed to a black kid dating outside their race. What was funny was that she wasn't white, either. But she was accepted by the whites and she was protected by the whites. She made a choice that she could live with so she could survive high school. It was also the same with two Filipino sisters who were also a little darker than white. They were friendly and nice. But they liked white guys.

Whoever came up with the racial classification system needs to be shot...but I'm assuming the perpetrators are already long gone
