I don't know exactly how much. I intentionally didn't weigh myself before I began. To do so would have been focusing on the wrong thing and ultimately may have yielded information which may have had an effect on my resolve. I am not just fasting. I am training each and every day and I am 6'5". I don't think that my example would be representative. Loss rate also depends on your constitution before you start. In general higher fat-levels and/or muscle mass mean that you will lose weight at a faster rate. In general I think that safe real weight loss is capped at about 6lbs per week MAX for someone who is overweight but not massively so. More realistically with regular exercise the average person will probably lose 3-4lbs per week. But I am neither an expert nor am I here to trumpet the effects of some "magic-bullet". Ultimately the entire thing is a question of will power. Be it simply going to the gym, eating healthily in general or fasting. It's all the same thing. One note of caution. If you do something like this you need have fixed plan for the return to a normal diet and you need to stick to it to avoid a potential yo-yo effect. That is one of the most important things. I also think that it would be good to ramp up your training at that point too. You need to know what might happen and prepare for it. One cautionary tale.
i have friends who did liquid fast for 1-3 months with amazing results, such as loosing 50-80 kg. but like earlier said they gained back most of it once they went back on regular food, not necessarily on bad food. i think it would be helpful to know how to feed urself once you want to quit.
Das Essen in Deutschland ist ziemlich ungesund. Viel Zucker und viel Fett und noch dazu ein sehr geringer Auswahl von ernährend aber Kalorie/Zucker-arme Kost.
I don know that I have the discipline to follow such a restrictive diet... So kudos to you for sticking to your very stringent regimen. I was mostly wondering because I find I need energy and caffeine to get thru my day. I also don't work out nearly as hard but I do work out. For me, I have been more successful just focusing in what I'm putting into my diet and bruh insistent about my daily activities. Over the long haul I have lost 25 lbs in a little over a year and I am happy withy results. I do understand that the scale is not representative of a healthy change, but I guess I'm just hard headed because I am still focused on a goal of a final number that I would be happy with. I am interested in switching things up for maybe 10-21 days and switch to a smoothie diet consisting of fruits and veggies and protein powder for at least 2 of my meals but if I could do all three I know I'd reap the rewards. I just love my chicken and fish! I also indulge in a sweet from time to time so that's keeping me from the results I wish I had without them (or at least faster results)...
Hey, man (wwwww), whatever works for you and makes you happy/feel better. More power to you. Rock out with.. no protein out.
Maybe a low-carb or raw-food diet. We don't have a good selection of low-carb foodstuffs in Germany otherwise that is probably what I would do. (Yes you have natural low-GI food but I was thinking more along the lines of the safe treats that for me make highly restrictive diets viable in the long term). All this talk of food is making me feel peckish.
mostly all kind of tea as long u dont add anything to it. those friends of mine did liquid fast based on veggie juice and vegetable water
I cook soups a lot, on different types of meat, marrow bones, tons of vegetables, etc. I guess that's my liquid diet.
I visited Sofia in 2013. It seemed like a really nice place. Much more international than its "spiritual-twin" Bucharest.
Not "Sofia" in Bulgaria. "SoFLA" as in South Florida. Although I actually have been to both, Sofia and Bucharest, many moons ago.
