Saw that on fb yesterday! There are other pics where she almost looks Eva Mendez-ish in a super cute black bikini. She's a perfectly proportioned size 16. :smt007 Very beautiful!

    How dare you lol
Same thing I always think about the "I love my curves" thread.
The pics posted are of models considered "plus size" in a world where the average girl is between a size zero and a two which is outrageous in itself but to call that woman plus size is bogus.
She looks better than a lot of gym rats I know.
But I guess its the same kind of win black women were suppose to cheer for when the likes of Vanessa Williams is the first black woman to win Ms America and Hale Berry is the personification of black beauty lol

Just because a size 16 is more of a norm nowadays doesn't mean it's not plus size. Trust me, a size 16 is considered plus size no matter where you shop (been there done that). Outward sexiness imo has so much to do with how one carries their weight. She looks toned, that's sexy imo. There's flabby size 16 and natural-curves size 16, just like theirs toned/athletic skinny and saggy skinny. 16 is still plus size no matter how you dice it. She's gorgeous, that pic doesn't even do her justice. I'd rock those curves without hesitation!

The whole idea of 'plus-size' is bad and does nothing but add another label/create baggage

Why can't she just be a model, period. Skinny chicks don't get labeled.

Of course it looks different on different people. That girl us at least 6 ft. A size 16 looks vastly different on her opposed to a girl who's 5'5 right?
And Petty is right labeling her is shitty.

Lmao skinny chicks get labeled all the time too. Women will be labeled some way regardless of how they look...short, skinny, chunky, thick...it happens to every woman probably every day. I think this particular model is being labeled plus size because a) maybe that's what she actually models or b) because of where this ad will be placed (sports illustrated).

I think that's basically what I said lol

That's because it's too easy to call them Halloween decor when they need skeleton models.

I saw the ad. She looked great. But the bikini she wore was rather conservative while the titles online were saying that it was "skimpy." If the title says skimpy bikini, I expect to see a skimpy bikini on this woman. But that's me. I guess the folks at Sports Illustrated didn't want to give Ashley Graham the full treatment that they give the models in their annual swimsuit issue.

    Here's more of her G :smt025

Here's her bathing suit tho...fits her beautifully  I think it's fairly skimpy, while not being hooker-ish. I like it.

Her body is truly gorgeous! Her boobs alone are worth the price of admission ;)
