It may just be the whole "lost in translation" on the internet. This doesn't surprise me considering people LOVE to bet on sporting events and the SB is the largest sporting event in the world.
Indeed they do love to bet. However my educated guess would be that it's the second largest in the world, with top honor going to The World Cup (soccer) Final.

Me too. Especially now that my team has all new coaches and a new GM. I'm excited to see what they do with the team and see how much better (hopefully) they play next year. I can't hardly stand it having to wait!! LOL. I really wish that they would come out with an NFL 2, where 32 new teams start playing the week after the Superbowl so we can never be without football. Ah, a girl can dream.
Well, think of it this way: the fact that we don't have nearly as much football as we do basketball or baseball makes football just that much more special. That's what keeps me going during the offseason.
