Pretty interesting moves in the last 48 hours. The Bills have gone with Rex Ryan and his defensive Philosophies to lead into a new ownership era. The Niner's showed great confidence in promoting their defensive line coach, Jim Tomsula, to the head job. These types of moves sometimes work. John Harbaugh was a special teams coach before getting a head coaching job. Most interesting to me was the hire of Jack Del Rio to the Raiders job. This is probably the best move the Raiders have made in years. Adding a coach with a lot of experience in all aspects of the game and a well regarded one at that. I only learned today of his ties to the Raider organization going back decades. These types of moves can bring your teams to the head of the league or set them back another 10 years. Any thoughts on the new hires?
Tough situation for the Jets because Ryan is a good coach. They will have to face the consequences of their decision twice a year when they play the Bills.
Life long Oakland fan not yet sure how to take del rio he was a very good coach in jax with a average qb David garrad, as important this hire is who he selects as the off coord/ qb coach gonna go a long way to see where we are this time 2 yrs from now,, qb position has become so vital
I'm excited to see how that plays out. Not a huge Rex Ryan fan but my bf is the worlds biggest bills fan and he's excited to get him there. We shall see I'm not jumping on Del Rio's bandwagon yet. I do agree he's a good coach but I want to see what he can do in oakland. I'm glad to have him though & I'm hoping he turns this team around. Our division really is up for grabs, we just need to go out there and get it. Seven months ago I would've sworn we'd have more than 8 wins and look where we landed lol. We.shall.see
Still two good drafts and smart free agency periods away from challenging for the division, if peyton does retire and its higher than 50% yes it's wide open Denver is very good in secondary have def tackles and 2 very good rb they sign a decent vet or if osweiler is any good 9-7 can win it easy Kc and San diego rosters both 15-20 players better than ours But for the love of cheese and crackers quit signing 30 something yr old pass rushers there is a reason their former teams didn't sign them tuck and Woodley best days long gone getting after the qb Pitt and giants don't let rushers leave till they are finished its why they are always good lol
Denver's awesome, I've always liked them (rivals or not lol). I don't mind KC either. SD can eat a dick lol. I just want to be competitive. I'm not looking to clinch the division next year necessarily but I don't want to give it away either. It'd be nice to see the silver and black back to their competitive ways. Like I said, we'll see. I'm a die hard fan regardless. Got new raider gear from my  for xmas so I'm ready to sport these colors all off season
Just put autum wind on a loop play it on your phone that should get you to the ota's after the draft lol
Haven't heard if so then Carr should pick him up from the airport wash his car and take him to dinner, the true west coast system would be a great fit for Carr trestman coaches it better than any of Walsh lineage just had a knucklehead in cutler trying to teach that dude had to have been hard for him
The Trestman Experiment in Chicago was bad. Yes it made everyone realize that Cutler is absolutely uncoachable. Luckily it happened, and I'm excited to see what our new coaches do in terms of him. He is absolutely a coach killer. However, Trestman's issues were more than just Cutler. He held NO ONE accountable for their actions - not players and not coaches (Aaron Kromer, anyone?). Now that we know he's landed in Baltimore, I wish them he best. He will likely succeed in his first year. We won't know if he's learned from his mistakes in Chicago until the second season.
