The busses in Miami-Dade were often crowded. So crowded, it was very uncomfortable to even breathe. And the bus stops are another story. Sometimes I had to catch the bus after hours(as late as 12 midnight). From the stops, I've seen fights across the street, transsexuals, and prostitutes getting arrested in undercover sting by the Miami-Dade Police. I had to watch everyone's hands as they pass by day and night.

I used to be around similar shenanigans downtown FTL, right down the street from the courthouse and the county jail. Good times...

I served jury duty once. Not much going on then. I knew about a lot of prostitutes along the causeway near the courthouse and county jail. But you don't see them during the day. But you do see them by the bridge at night.
