Any religion that treats women as second class citizens (including being totally covered up + some douchebag's property) can choke on my figurative balls. To death. :smt074 :smt096

    Basically

Sometimes I frown upon interfering with other civilizations (because I follow the Star Trek prime directive) but then I realize that people actually believed slavery was right..and well I'd hate to have been one

Yup. Some people still deny that the holocaust took place, meanwhile I lived nearby a concentration camp, and played on top of bunkers as a kid in Poland. I have very little tolerance for any kind of oppressive shit. If it were up to me, I'd take all evil assholes (nazis, terrorists, tyrants (Putin too), slave owners/smugglers (whether from back in a day -or- today since that shit is still happening all over the world) or any other kind of evil fucks), put them all on some island, and blow them all up, while the rest of the world gets some popcorn and champagne, and watches and celebrates. I know, I can be so horribly heartless. :smt077

Very nice. May we add child rapists/killers and animal torturers?

Ha. Ty for allowing the addition. :smt066
l couldnt view the vid.. said its 'unavailable'.

Btw, l think it's incredible that you grew up near the moral and literal stench of a concemtratration camp. I know that there are some people who think America is the world , but there are atrocities that also occured elsewhere in this huge world that people can't conceptualize.

Apart from playing on bunkers, was it (the remnants of the Houlacast) something that remained in the forefront for you while growing up?

America? You mean their neighborhood or city and then selective about what really matters

Growing up as the second generation in a country wiped out by nazis (and the soviets thereafter, let's not forget about those assholes now, lol) is quite special. Nevermind what my family members went through (if they survived to tell the story). When I started elementary school (still under the commie regime) with commie/propaganda posters and history books and all that, we were learning (in first grade) how to respond to attacks, along with a bunch of other BS (to make the story short). Then Chernobyl came, yet another middle finger from the corrupt russians. Then... suddenly the commies were gone, and so was the propaganda classroom decor. I never heard of the US *saving the day* until I moved here. I grew up in a building that was a war hospital during WW2. If you believe in spirits...

    Absolutely. Tunnel vision personified.

    Fascinating. (Are you Jewish?)
Feeling absolute sadness that you had kin directly affected, and that you personally grew up 2nd gen to the nazi's infestation.

I lived for four months in Europe, one year after Chernobyl..and I remember being terrified that the remnants of the nuclear explosion still proliferated the atmosphere (I was convinced I was going to develop cancer). I couldn't imagine how your country people must have felt.

Your propaganda anecdotes are depressing... many people (the world over) are still subjected to it to this day, particularly the uneducated. I know the US must have been a culture shock for you. (Heck it was for me, and I grew up in a progressive, democratic country.) You seem to have adapted well, though.

I am not Jewish, but have learned (via Facebook) that I have distant relatives in Europe who are. I was raised "cafflick." :D Moving to Florida was a *bit* of a culture shock, but, like you said, somehow I adapted. Where in Europe did you live?

Have you ever met a right wing talking point or canard that you didn't like?

You know who else didn't attend the Paris march? All of the world leaders in that photo.

It was a bullshit photo op that lasted a few minutes. They weren't anywhere near the real march.

If Obama had attended, you'd be here posting links to some article from the Daily News, Newsmax, the Blaze or some other right wing shit show attacking him for trying to make the controversy about himself or some such nonsense.

    Talking point??, it's PHOTOS.

All you know is how to excuse every last behavior. It doesn't matter if it lasted one second. HE WAS NOT THERE. We are their largest Ally. Disrespectful as fuck. FYI, the reporters were from CNN. You'd be screaming left-wing murder if this was Bush, wouldn't cha?

It was the *sweet revenge* scene from The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo (the US version) where Lisbeth ties the rapist and tattoos "I am a rapist pig" on his chest (or "I am a sadist pig and a rapist" in the Euro version), and tells him she's gonna keep an eye on him (she's a hacker). :smt038

Haha, had to think a sec on that 'cafflick'. Which my BFF is. I lived in Athens, Greece.

I've never seen the movie, but shit I dig Lisabeth (and your style!) :smt066 :D

That should be the auto-tat for all convicted rapists.
