Very sad to hear about the struggles hes endured but so proud he lived his life despite the cancer that surely pained him. I'm going to miss his wonderful energy on ESPN. RiP Stuart Scott.
Such a sad day. The way he handled his illness should be a lesson in life for all of us. A positive attitude may not change the outcome in the end, but it'll surely alter how much you enjoy the time you have left. Life is too short. Be happy and live your life! RIP SS.
in my eyes.....he changed how sports reporting is presented. i tuned in just to see how he was going to do mj's dunk or the big barry sanders run i saw earlier. they r having a stu tribute on espn and they are saying people didnt like his style....well people arecopying it now. he was cool as the other side of the pillow. da da da da da da he is espn.....rip
49 is too young...espn will not be the same...it was wonderful to hear him speak of his daughters as his greatest accomplishment...being a dad...amazing how he continued to work during his illness
I saw that earlier. She did the best she could to keep it together. Can't even begin to imagine how hard that was for her to have to do on camera. Had me crying like a baby and I didn't even know the man.
http://www.complex.com/sports/2015/...-time-stuart-scott-stood-up-to-espn-executive kieth tells the story of how stu stood to bring the hip hop style into his broadcast.
I look forward to that book to be published in weeks called Every Night I Fight. It discussed his life and his fight against cancer.
His got so many Catchphrases "He must be the bus driver cuz he was takin' him to school." "Holla at a playa when you see him in the street!" Great sportscaster May he rest in peace
