Jessie J can't stop gushing about her new boyfriend.

The "Bang Bang" singer recently went public with her relationship with R&B singer Luke James, and she told Metro.co.uk that things are going well between the two.

"He understands my life, and I understand his," the 26-year-old said. "We're just really getting to know each other and just enjoying being in love."

Since the two lovebirds are both singers, they also like showing off their voices together. "We've had sing offs!" Jessie said. "He met my mum and dad recently, and my dad went 'it's like a musical, isn't it?!'"

She went public with the relationship last month by naming Luke her "Man Crush Monday" on Instagram.
