How do you view someone who doesnt drink.

I've never been ridiculed or teased about not drinking. I have a friend who had a drinking problem. She quit on her own. But she feels uncomfortable like you do. I can't convince her that she should be proud of her accomplishment and not feel ashamed of not drinking. But I think alcohol put her at ease and made her more social. She's lost her source of confidence. I don't think people should make drinking such a big deal. If you meet someone that doesn't share the desire to drink or party, just move on.

I haven't drank in a little over a month. Drinking for me usually happens in social settings like happy hour, and I've been on this 'thing' where I'm currently going without alcohol. I don't really care one way or the other if the person that I'm dating drinks or not, as long as they don't try to pressure me one way or the other.

Also, I am a bit of a snobby drinker. Most liquor that I buy starts at $40 and ranges to about $80. Wine generally ranges $20 - $60. My wallet has been extremely thankful this past month.

Is it worth $130? I can get 18yr Highland Park for that price, and its actually worth more than that imo.

I don't care either way if somebody drinks or not. I'm a very light social drinker and once in a while I drink more depending on the circumstances.

I don't find drunks exciting to be around, they generally act a fool and make bad decisions or are very boisterous. If I drink, I drink as far as a buzz and nothing more. And on Sundays when I watch football I generally have a beer and nachos :smt002

Don't do that. Don't try to be a follower because you want to fit in. If someone asks, say you don't drink. If people don't like that, then you shouldn't be around them in the first place.

I'm really a vodka type of dude (occasional drinker). I was wondering if the CRXR was worth the price tag.

She would be a real wowser if she didn't MCA. Besides, you would be like a designated driver for someone instead of pretending to be drinking. I do but,not that much since I never drink alone. Since there is the web there got to be bargins on certain types of booze.

I hear you. There are quite a few whiskies that are worth that price but you won't get your monies worth if you have not developed your palate yet. It takes some time. Just saying since you usually drink vodka.
    Keep us posted.

Don't be though. So you weren't her type. Some individuals live for their drink. She was one of them. Anyone who puts booze before a possible connection is a loser.

If it's any consolation, understand that some people take their booze very seriously. I recently was present at Philly Mag's Whiskey & Fine Spirits Festival...There was over $3 million worth of the finest grog in the world on display by vendors, and 1000 people paid $120 to attend, while private club attendees paid $1,500. All just to drink. (And eat). And get DRUNK. :-?

It's true that there are perks. :D My girlfriend's son who gave up drinking... has a friend whose father buys him a ticket to attend Eagles football games if he drives his son home safely after.
Plus the NFL has a designated driver program where you are provided a wristband and are given soda for free for being one.

No question there is a long line of taxis, limos, and Uber cabs at that festival in Philly. Along with handlers to carry them. They must be so wasted to drink such expensive hooch.
