    flip it

“I’m tired of being told I don’t act black, I don’t talk black, and I don’t look black. I’m sick of being told I’m not actually black.”

the association with blackness , with bad grammar or crime is a relatively new occurrence, started off as a justification for the slave trade, and later perpetuated buy the media to justify social inequality.

black people have often been the very well presented people. Its the well spoken, presentable brother who should be saying to the hood, " you're not black enough"

IMO, nobody should be saying this shit to anyone else, because it's no one else's call to make.

This. But I totally get melanin's point about how irritating it is to have blackness equated with thuggery.

I'm cutting back on my carbs, so how about a double espresso shot instead?
