There is always change,be it in technical matters,in mindsets, values, morals and other areas of life.
Some of those changes we adapt to easily, while for others it is more difficult.
Which are some things you think/feel old-fashioned about?

    For me,the following:

*Computers: When shopping for a new laptop a few weeks ago, the salesman in the store showed me some touch screen computers.
I could get used to the thought of cell phones going from button keyboard to touch screen keyboard, but I wanna hold on to a laptop with actual button keyboard.

*Chivalry/gentleman manners: While I am perfectly fine opening doors/car doors for myself, cooking dinner or dining out by myself etc or do those things for a man, I do believe it's a beautiful thing when a man still does these things once in a while.

*Phone calls. These days most people just want to text on a messenger, app etc. . To me that is quite impersonal. When meeting in person isn't impossible, I'd rather do phone calls to at least hear one another's voice than to text. It's a little more personal.

Definitely! I'm perfectly capable of doing things for myself but nothing warms my heart more than my sweet love being all gentlemanly. I've spent my first 33 years taking care of everyone else so it's an incredibly beautiful thing to be taken care of.

As for phone calls though..I'm all about texting lol. The only people I really answer a call from is my guy or my kids.

I'm old fashioned about family meal time. Sitting down together at the dinner table without the TV on, or people playing on their smart-phones.

Women wearing dresses/skirts. I'm all for women having the choice to wear what ever they want, but there is just something about a women in a dress that speaks to me.

Basic politeness. So many people nowadays revel in being complete dicks (especially true on the internet), and I don't understand why. Even if you disagree with someone you don't need to be impolite.

    Agree on all of these.

I don't feel comfortable wearing dresses and skirts at the moment (aside from it being too cold), but I used to love wearing skirts and heels.

And men in suits...you don't see that enough. And seriously, when you do, they stand out...in a good way.

    A man in a suit...damn...it's so freaking sexy. :smt049 :smt049

Chivalry. Good manners, in general. Moral values. Sanctity of life. Marriage. Dating/courting. Dressing up for special occasions.

Women staying at home raising the kids while I'm out with the fellas.

Women not speaking unless spoken to.

Women working nothing but secretarial jobs.

A swift and decisive slap to the face when she gets out of line.

Women doing all household chores, preparing and serving me food/alcohol, and having at my sex at my beckoning.

Having multiple bitches like my homies in the bible.

All my relationships have been successful with this mentality thus far.

I am guilty of this one. I am not a big phone person at all. In fact, if I am not on call for work, my ringer is usually off. I get aggravated and usually yell expletives when my phone rings and typically tend to zone out on my caller relatively quickly. Most people talk just to talk about themselves and really don't give a shit about what's going on with you, so I'll ask questions that get them to talking and just... go off into my own world.

    Me: "How was your day?"
    Caller: "blhalbhlablahblahblahblahyaddayaddablahblah"
    Caller: "THEN, blahblhablhalbhalskdflkjlblablbalbh, ya know?"
    Me: "yeah"
    Caller: "Blablhablhblhablblabhablblahwhoopitywhoopityblah"
Me: "Yeah, I mean.,... ya know... man... I don't even know what to say"
Caller: "I KNOW RIGHT! So, then... blahblahblablbahblahblahblah"
    Caller: *giggle*
    Me: "haha, you stupid..."
Caller: "yippidydooyippidydeeblahhblahblahblah, what should I tell him JC?"
Me: "My bad, I ain't even hear you... you know I get bad reception in this apartment sometimes."

Forgot that one in my little list.
Within the past 2 years I ve worn dresses more and more. Now that I have to wear a uniform for work, which to me looks kind of masculine,i try to equal it out even more in my spare time,by wearing dresses more often than ever.

Manners. Work ethic. Some traditions. Sewing, knitting, and old-world stuff like that, lol. Respect for elders. Helping others.
