More importantly what does he plan on doing outside of complaining about it. I have concerns too but I have plans of action as well. Worry is like a rocking chair no matter how much energy you put into it you end up going nowhere.
Very clear, fair, concise review of the possible immigration reform here http://www.vox.com/2014/11/20/7250255/immigration-reform-obama-executive-action
Hell u are the same people to get the only people to vote are homeowners....negroe plz. http://www.cbsnews.com/news/tea-party-dont-let-renters-vote/
Well now since this struggle is about to be signed into law, let us put aside talk of hypocrisy and move forward with a plan to help these people. ....During President Reagan's time 1980, $1 dollar bought what $3 dollars and 57cents would buy today. ....Based on that premise, Back in 1980, PettyOfficer would only have to work 40 hours to feed a Mexican family of 4 for 2 months....today he would have to work 142 hours. .....Back in 1980 TDK would only have to work 4 months to support 4 new incoming elderly Mexicans placed on disability......today he would need to work 14.3 months. ...Back in 1980 if Goodlove worked hard for just 6 months, he could help to pick up the tab of delivery for 4 pregnant Mexican mothers, today he would have to work 22 months to finance those deliveries. ....We all need to prepare to work harder to help our new countrymen. ....
Aren't they already here and using services? Its not like we're getting 5 million new people or am I mistaken?
And what cost effective way would you propose to getting them out? And having them deported could have catastrophic effects on the economy. While they may not pay state or federal taxes they pay a ton in sales tax as well as rent and gas and food. Trust me I am no fan of illegal immigration, my family had to go through the process the right way. Shit I still have family trying to get here but can't so its annoying to see illegals just get a pass but when you think of a logical safe and cost effective way to deport them I don't see how.
:smt043 Isn't Guantanamo Bay supposed to be closed now? Wasn't that a 2008 campaign promise by our Commander-in-Chief? Wait...yeah, I think it WAS!

Nice article. Though I will say that Obama is doing a "great" job of trading lots of bad Gitmo detainees for each American deserter/kidnapping victim. So, in his own way, he is TRYING to close Gitmo. (I hope you all know that I'm just having fun with this).
