Just reading some of the stuff on Cosby saddens me. One of the accuser says she was 17 living with him when he raped her repeatedly. If he did he certainly is a pig and a monster. if this happened to the ladies, feel ver bad for them, hope they find a place to heal from the scar of this trauma.

I feel sorry for him, is this what his legacy gonna be, what a shame!

No, it's not hush money perse. But, rather the cheapest route. A case like that could have cost him much more money in legal fees and what not. Plus, if he was cheating on his wife, all the details come out. So, its cheaper to just settle while admitting no wrong doing.

With millions of dollars on the line, your attorney will advise you not to get into a prolonged legal battle. And, as we see, the public forgot all about that shit anyways. There's a large segment of people (some of them on this very board) who sleep comfortably in their beds, knowing that the justice system usually gets it right, so they have no fear of SWAT knocking down their doors

But then there's a small minority of people who don't have that same conscience (or lack thereof) and literally will not stop until they see wrongful convictions go away
