OMG, what is going on. People grabbing their guns and firing over NOTHING! THIS POOR CHILD IS GONE FOR WHAT!? :smt009 Man 'shoots his 13-year-old neighbor NINE TIMES because he was LAUGHING at him when he discovered his home had been burglarized hours before' By The AP. Gary, Indiana police say a 13-year-old boy was fatally shot by a neighbor who became enraged when the teen laughed at him when the man discovered that his home had been burglarized. Lt. Thomas Pawlak tells the Post-Tribune Kobe Jones was pronounced dead Friday evening at the scene from multiple gunshot wounds. Pawlak says a neighbor shot Jones nine times after the teen laughed at him as the man began yelling in anger outside his burglarized home at the 1000 block of Polk Street. The home was burglarized at around 12:30 p.m. and when the shooter and his girlfriend returned home five hours later they were visibly upset and 'making a scene'. Pawlak says the man and his girlfriend fled the crime scene in a car but returned about two hours later and were arrested. He says they were being held at the city jail and charges are pending. I was told that my son was laughing and the guy shot him dead,' Jones' father, Kaunda Jones, told NBC. 'The death of a child is horrible. Nobody plans to bury their child at 13-years-old,' said the boy's forlorn step-mother. The teen was one of 12 siblings and was described as being a 'funny and outgoing' boy. Heartbroken step-mom Heartbroken father, WHO doesn't understand how someone can shoot a little boy for laughing The young victim. R.I.P, lil man
 I remember how it was back in tha day when I was 13 or 14 Pretty much could make anything into something funny Never expected to be shot over it.......NINE times
Hold on at 13 he knows exactly what he did but if he were 17 and having sex he'd be manipulated? This is exactly what I was referring to. What he did was awful but I think he needs some form of help not jail. Killing someone for laughing sounds like some mental health shit.
The world is going crazy. RIP to this boy. I hope this guy never sees the light of day. What an a-hole.
You might want to read the article, before making backward assumptions. The shooter was an adult. The victim was 13. You're welcome.
I know right. The child likely didn't have the cognitive dissonance to decipher the 'seriousness' of the situation. The neighbor was wilding out and probably appeared clownish to the kid, or made the kid nervous which makes some kids laugh. Whatever it was, shooting him was insanity and 9 shots is overkill. Throw away the key.
geez they are shooting up kids for acting like nelson muntz now. so so sad You got to watch your children closer with these luntaics out there. first shooting for loud music. then shooting for laughing. what next shooting for walking
Damn. Such a shame. Since when is laughter a lethal weapon or a life-threatening situation? I have never even heard of this before. But, people do not like to be ridiculed, especially in their shortcomings and misfortunes. But if one is laughed at, I think it triggers something inside them that makes them react. That trigger that tells them, " Well, dude, look at you now. What are you going to about this, huh? It doesn't change. It doesn't end. But it will if you do something about it. Do this thing and no one will ever laugh at you again." Mental illness is serious. But, if the adult was mentally ill, the adult would not have a gun in their possession. The adult who took the life of this boy just let their trigger take over.
You can be mentally ill and possess a firearm Believe that There's no secret Gestapo that clears out your home whenever ur diagnosed with bipolar disorder or seeing satan in your mirror When I purchased my beretta, the only question they had on the background check form concerning mental health was whether or not u were involuntarily committed to a mental institution The old saying that there are more crazy people in the streets than in the hospitals rings true You can be crazy as catshit but never see the inside of an asylum
This insanity makes me sick; they need to lock him up & throw away the key. My heart goes out to his family. RIP, little man.
The family will never be the same after something like that He wasn't just killed in a real life or death situation The fact that he was gunned down over something as stupid as that just make it worse Raises all sorts of questions
