I'm a fan of the show, but it's not what I'd call action figure worthy subject matter.

I thought the show was pretty good too

I'm really surprised that someone thought this would be a good idea

Wats next, COPS action figures with police and perps in wife beaters chugging 40s

I think back to something said by jazz keyboardist/composer Keiko Matsui during a concert. She stated about their purpose and meaning. "We make strange things," she said. "But we need them." She had composed a song called Doll and performs it at her concerts.

I used to work at the Child World toy store back in 1989 during the holidays(stocking on the night shift) in Rockaway, New Jersey. Child World was a supermarket for all sorts of toys. Every aisle was dedicated to every type(Barbie and everything related to her had the largest aisle in the store). We even had a display for a collector's doll set for The Wizard Of Oz(one of our supervisors resembled one of the Munchkin dolls, it was uncanny as it was funny).

Over the years(beginning from the mid-70's to mid 80's), the trends in dolls were reaching teens and adults with the popularity of films like Alien, Aliens, The A-Team, Rambo or Ghostbusters. Anime also picked up steam with Voltron and Gundam. G.I. JOE and The Transformers ruled the roost.

However, dolls based on some fantasy and horror films like Hellraiser, Child's Play(Chucky), Freddy Krueger and dolls made by Todd McFarlane(Spawn) were sold at specialty stores and were never sold in the main retailers. I think that dolls or other things based on Breaking Bad should be sold at the specialty shops and not the main retailers.

There is an easy fix for this; don't buy them for your kids. It's not a big deal.

First of all, kids shouldn't be allowed to watch Breaking Bad.

If only you could see the side-eye I'm giving you

Why in the hell would you put toys of drug dealers with METH bags in the aisles where kids frequent? At a fucking toys r us of all places. Obviously those 'toys' are not for kids and should be kept in an age restricted area.

Kids are t even supposed to be watching the show

Unless there's some rated G cartoon with mothafuckas making drugs and selling it to unicorns

Exactly what I was thinking. Wouldn't matter if the kid was playing with the breaking bad toys unless they've seen the show which is problem in of itself. Why would a kid that young know what meth is. It's called parental guidance, companies can't do everything you're supposed to do.

    This thread is hilarious.

You're complaining about toys with fake white powder and yet we all grew up pretending to be macho soldiers with rifles, guns, etc...and fantasy toys with swords and shit....

    Come on....don't be such prudes.

Do any of you guys remember the scene in the film Righteous Kill with Al Pacino and Robert DeNiro? There was an interesting scene in which they and the other guys are discussing the cartoon Underdog how that cartoon may have unwittingly introduced drug use. Whenever Underdog got weak, he reached into his ring and popped a pill, thus restoring his strength. I didn't think about it at the time because I was a kid and fantasized about getting strength from a pill when I needed it. Of course, I knew better and my parents told all of us about the dangers of drugs and drug abuse.

So by that logic society should just say "Fuck It" and okay toy crack pipes & crack head playsets, toy heroin needles playsets with spoons, lighters & track mark tattoos and various pimp and ho action figure. Bishop Don Magic Juan 12 inch talking action figure with catch phrase "Bitch Bring Me My Money" as well as bling pimp cup & switchblade also included.

I recall a rumor of a street walker Barbie doll due to come out years ago. I guessed Ken(being an accessory to Barbie) will be riding around in a pink Cadillac, wearing the pimp clothes and carrying a cane. He'd have an added feature to his hands similar to G.I. Joe's kung fu grip and he slaps Barbie around. Thank God that didn't become a reality.

Sure, why not? It's not like things like that were never sold to children anyway.

Umm hmm. And of course you'd also have no problem with the Jeffrey Dahmer Junior Serial Killer & Cannibal starter kit showing up in stores......

Sure. They had Freddy Kreuger and Jason toys. Hell, even Mars Attacks, so why not?

While we're at it...let's include a WWBM Action Figure set featuring some of our favorite members on here...complete with anatomically correct parts and orifices.

    (Damn....that gives me an idea)

Umm hmm. Of course you know they don't sell those toys at Toys R Us or other retail stores, but specialty stores or novelty shops. Next you'll be giving the okay to kiddie porn being sold in toy store video sections for kids because "Hey" kids are going to find out sex sooner or later, right. Why be prudes about that as well...

    Now...what were you saying?

Oh look....they also sell Evil Dead, Predator, and other "mature" toys, complete with blood and gore.

P.S. Nice try with the strawman. Won't work this time.
