Rah Digga doesn't take corporate checks because she doesn't make her music through any of the major corporate labels. A lot of artists (Hip Hop, Rock or Alternative) that prefer to be on the underground/independent scene had record deals with corporate labels & got screw in some form or fashion by the corporate labels, usually wanting them to adopt an image or persona that was not true to who they & their music were about.

And as for as the corporate labels go they no longer have an interest in promoting actual artists with talent or genuinely good music like they once did due to internet giving people access to music & artists not on the corporate tit & downloading what they want. Especially when mp3/mp4 format hit the scene. Record companies are basically surviving by marketing and selling the artist and music that they want you to buy. That's why radio stations now are pretty much owned by the same corporate interest that own the record labels and why music lines seem to be blurring. Every damn radio station now, no matter if the format is "Soft Rock", "Pop" or "Hip Hop/R&B", seems to play the exact same artists in heavy rotation every hour. What happened to new Hard Rock & straight R&B/Soul artists on the radio in heavy rotation? Why don't we hear that on the radio any longer? You telling me both R&B and Rock are no longer popular music genres, but Country still is? Because their are plenty radio stations with strictly Country music formats around. Or at least there are where I live.........

How is it funny when she got screwed by the corporate system & she's talking about a corporate tool? That's what Iggy is. Corporate manufactured tool marketed strictly to make them money.


Radio Stations where you live might play old school in heavy rotation, but not here unless it's a station that plays strictly old school rock or strictly old R&B. And those are rare up here.

Your opinion on her complaint can be viewed in the same way. It's her opinion. She's allowed it. Why should anyone care or not what she or other's think of other artists or their authenticity? If people like Iggy A, Rah Digga's opinion isn't stopping any of them from liking her same as her opinion isn't going to get Rah Digga any new fans for speaking her mind. It is what it is.

Alot of artists dont write their own songs. Hell when rap first came out people didnt recognize as true art. That a legit argument.

Most of them couldnt identify a musical note if their life dependant on it. They sample the shit out of songs.

Im more rite than wrong u would be hard pressed to find one that can play a musical instrument. Btw a drum machine doesnt qualify.
