Given how conservative his policies are in both the economy and national defense, other than race, there isn't much in terms of the 'Washington Consensus' that he isn't on board with. And real capitalists aren't nearly as race-distracted as the working class. So, I doubt it's because they want him to be assassinated.

When you routinely cannibalize, cut and transfer away copious sums of the secret service budget to civilian benefits and entitlements….the agents can understandably begin to have lapses ……some of which might even be intentional………

AND ONE MORE TIME FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE NEVER TAKEN A CIVICS CLASS. THE PRESIDENT DOESN'T CONTROL BUDGETS, CONGRESS DOES.

 

If the Secret Service has had their budget cut, there's only one entity to blame and that's not the Executive Branch of government.

You might want to look for a culprit in that political party who believes the federal government is too big already and thinks we'd be better off contracting the POTUS' safety to private security firms.

Let the marginal income tax for the top bracket go back up to 29% and we'd find the money needed to expand the Secret Service budget and retain better agents.

 

I've seen organized crime boss security better than this, seriously.
