Federal judge accused beating wife at an atlanta hotel.......so should he lose his job?

 

Of course! How the hell can he objectively adjudicate when he's beating the shit out of a person he's supposed to love and protect.
Or anyone else, for that matter.

Violent people actually belong in jail.

 

He should but he won't. Federal judges are pretty much invincible. Congress won't even bother itself to consider impeachment. I'm actually surprised that he was even arrested!

Unfortunately, no one can force him to step down from the bench. Since he was appointed under Article III of the Constitution he basically serves for life unless he dies or is impeached. That's why so many people are asking him to resign; short of impeachment he isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

He can be reprimanded, assigned fewer cases, and have his life on the bench made slightly more difficult in the meantime but that's about all that's going to be done.

 

Yes. And he must undergo anger management and other therapies.

 

I really doubt that but hope you are right.
This guy knows the law very well and probably is well off. plus the life time appointment that is absurd for any office.

 

Hell yeah he should lose his job but I can guarantee that he will not
