Home Run is a good one, their quality started to wane as others got better over the last fifteen years or so. Uno's, fuck no! A lot of them have closed in and around Chicago. They tried to serve me pink chicken wings, telling me that the pink hue was normal.
pizza All this chat about pizza is making me hungry for some good pepperoni with black olive. Hand tossed with extra cheese. Followed by :drinkers: What are your favorite toppings?
I'm like you in that respect, pep and olives are a fav of mine. I also smash BBQ pep ham bacon pizzas.
I'm in the San Fernando Valley in SoCal. Finding consistently good pizza here is nigh impossible. If you find a place that's good one day, it's crappy the next. But, it's like that with almost every restaurant here.
Holy shit!! We have Giordano's here!!!! Just made my day! Chicago's pizza in central Florida! Does it get any better?
Any posters here from Long Island? We have he BEST pizza. Chicago posters we can argue all night about this. lol
I actually like a lot of different types of Pizza but this place has a good taste overall. Margherita Pizza with pepperoni, sopressata, mushrooms, caramelized onions, truffle cheese. Margherita with Jalapeno, Mushrooms, Roasted Garlic, Shrimp, and Truffle Cheese Buffalo mozzarella, pesto, sun dried tomato (Carni) Specialty pizza So many toppings to choose from
Okay, I see Chicago is rated 1st in deep dish, but I find it VERY hard to believe that not one place in Chicago made the top 10 in individual restaurants? Really?
