When I was younger I told my mom how amazing it would be if we could pause and rewind the television because I wanted to pause TMNT while I was at school and watch it when I got home. Fuckin Tivo!

i stay kicking my peace, love, environmentalist shit to people

but damn philly public transit is raw as shit

i just think of it as a constant reminder of all the different types of people around. You definitely lose any elitism you may think you possess, when you're sitting next to a dirty ass bum or a mom and her 3 badass kids

keeps me in touch with all the classes, ya dig

Yeah fuck that noise. I'll take my well air conditioned and heated apartment in the burbs where its 85% lily white and within that demo 70 percent is over 40.
Less kids and less crime. The nights are quiet and I can see the starts and that gorgeous full moon we had on Thursday. I want to be part of that one percent not even gonna try to front less headache, less worry, and more than likely I'll be able to keep my woman happy and quiet lol

But I feel so right lol.

I love living in a place where my neighbors know me and I can go for a stroll at 9pm on the track at the local hs. Granted I take the proper precautions. Light colored clothing and using my debit card at least twice to establish time lines. Sounds paranoid but mama ain't raise no fool.

The one thing I hate about the teenagers around here is they aren't violent but they fucking travel in large groups and take their sweet ass time crossing the street. Its like watch Buffalo graze, but my God am I happy that's the worst I complain about.

You should try suburban living fam especially at our age its just nicer not to deal with the bs. I am far past trying to prove myself to anyone and I am done with all kinds of violence someone touches me or my family.
The other night we took some kids from the place I volunteer to the Bronx.
Another group of teenagers rolled up on us asking where we were from and why were there.
I guess we didn't answer them quick enough so one dude started taking off his jacket. Luckily one of the store owners came out and spoke to him telling him what we did.
To be fair the fucker apologized and bounced but I am so done with all that shit. Having to be on edge at all times. Its no way for educated upwardly mobile people to live.

Btw so much for that horseshit theory that they only do that shit to white people. If you look out of place hood motherfuckers notice.

what do u want to be when you grow up?

Sometimes I think that if I could do it all again I would be:

    1) a backup dancer on Janet Jackson's Rhythm Nation world tour
    2) a diplomat
    3) an actor on Candid Camera/Punk'd
    4) a Navy Seal
    5) a kindergarten teacher
    6) a courtier at Versailles

    Anyone else dream 'what if'?
