team usa-basketball: paul george badly injured

paul george incurred a terrible injury ......it was horrible to watch.

not to long ago players were called unamerican for turning down the opportunity.

i wonder what the commentators have to say now.

 

I hope he had good insurance, that was a GRUESOME break/snap of the lower leg. Had not seen an injury that bad since Theisman, or that kid from Louisville a couple years back.

 

yeah i have been watching espn and fox...its been wall to wall

 

i guessing pro bball players are now more justified in being hesitant in joining team usa.

i know i would.

 

If you on your rookie deal and on the cusp of stardom and a big contract yeah you might be hesitant, but if you signed the huge deal why be hesitant NBA contracts for the most part are fully guaranteed from the day they are signed.

As for the injury well that was gruesome but it was also a freak accident that could have just as easily happened in during a summer workout or in training camp, or during a regular season game. Should pro athletes be more hesitant in doing everything now, hell you can break you leg taking a shower, tripping down a flight of stairs, you can tear muscles just working out.

 

Don't forget Shaun Livingston, that is the worst injury I've ever seen. Dude's knee just crumpled like it was made out of styrofoam.

George has had an all-around shitty year: lost to the Heat in the playoffs for the third year in a row, paternity suit by a stripper, and now this.

 

Pacers were easily set to be one of the top 3 teams in the East this year.

Then they let Lance Stephenson walk which dropped them to.... 6 to 8.

Now they are out of it completely.

 

Rumor has it that Paul George got caught sleeping with Roy Hibbert's woman. If this is true, then I wouldn't be surprised if Hibbert put a voodoo curse on George. His parents are from the islands. But I wish PG the best in his recovery.
