You have a point, but its really not that bad because the intellectuals tend to band together. When you meet one you also meet several others and you tend to appreciate the company of one another. The simplicity of life here in the south is invaluable to those that don't take the best things for granted and any southerner can relate to your family values. For example, Charlotte. Its a major financial city, yet still southern. Close to the countryside and small towns of NC. You would meet people from all over as well as those that have ties to Raliegh, which is a major intellectual biotech and college area. The beaches are not far from that area either. You would also be close to Atlanta for more networking and business opportunities. We have what you guys have up north, but in a different way.

There is nothing more frustrating than paying for a wack date with no pay off. Recently had drinks with a girl I met off of okcupid. Even spending money on two drinks felt like way too much on someone I wasn't attracted to.

I don't seek out any type its whats out there. Like I said before I'd love to see what you people consider quality women because the selfish attitudes seem to be dominant as hell. And if you critique the entitled selfish attitudes you're some how bitter.
I'll bottom line it for the slow kids. I'm in my early thirties with a pretty good job decent salary averagish looks nice apt and decent car and despite the forum opinion a charming and personable demeanor. I seek out and am attracted to attractive ww in their mid to late twenties who don't have kids (refuse to play house with some other dudes family) and women in that small demographic are you usually obsessed with idea of marriage and kids and are desperately seeking out men who are marriage material because the clock is ticking. They rarely can just be they need every interaction to be something meaningful and leading to something. So it puts me a constant position of dating people who only see men as an investment vehicles. So when people say "find better" where and how exactly. I have no problem attracting and getting women, despite my lack of I get nearly chick I see attitude like some of you prohect, I usually get who I want with little friction but finding a person who shares the things that you important in the world is seemingly impossible based on the culture we live in. That's what I mean by frustrating and I'm not talking about me. Its crazy to me that educated good looking guys like Jaisee or Orejon have seek women who weren't born in the US to find suitable women because their stock is higher outside of their native country.

Goodlove I have never once said you don't need conversation to win a woman and I never slammed the south on intelligence. The south is the land of conservative closed minded people. Not everyone of course but it is the culture. Thank the religious right for that.
