What da fuck is going with Brazil? I am speechless, I am glad I did not go I will be crying like a little bitch. This is just humilating.
Ditto. I can't believe it. And then Argentina went down as well after several shots on goal. SMDH. That being said, it was probably the most enjoyable Cup since 1998.
I'm glad Germany won, they were deserving winners although I really wanted Holland to do it. It was good for Brazil's civil order that Argentina didn't lift the trophy in the MaracanĂ£ as that would have been the ultimate coup de grace as the French say.
That would definitely have been the straw that broke the proverbial camel's back. I would have preferred any team out of the final four but Germany. This isn't the first time I've been riding a losing horse, lol.
Yes, it was brutal. I'm enjoying these MLS/UEFA matches this week as well. Enthusiasm for the beautiful game appears to be truly on the rise.
So my favorite English team Manchester United beat my favorite Spanish team Real Madrid and my favorite MLS team L.A. Galaxy won. Looks like they're a contender for the MLS Cup
I'm glad Germany won the World Cup and the Brazilians glad that Argentina lost on their home soil. I know doubt they are singing the song of "Who's Your Daddy Now".
Give it time, the MLS will improve. You just need to tap into the large potential talent pool the US has. As I said in another post, more American players coming to Spain and England would do both the MLS and national the world of good.
I couldn't agree more. The key to the US game continuing to develop is familiarity with the pace and organizational structure of the world game. When those players return to MLS after stints abroad they are often noticeably better. And having UEFA players doing a 2-3 year stint in the MLS before retirement also allows them to share their tactical skills with domestic league players as well. Thierry Henry worked wonders with the Red Bulls, and last year he didn't have to carry the load all by himself. His teammates totally stepped up.
