Match the posters to the following descriptions.

Future law school graduate who has a son that plays tennis.

Young military enlistee who recently wrapped up a tour of duty and will now pursue a career in healthcare.

Arizona lawyer with a wife and children.

Canadian who moved to the Carribean and U.S. to pursue a career in medicine.

It should take most of you seconds to figure out who I am describing, and the reason why relates to posters who're doing something with their lives. Hell, I lead a very private life but some of you even know things about me.

You ever notice how people who have shit going on their lives do more than post selfies or brag about their latest sexual conquest? The majority of males are heterosexual and like pussy. Not exactly a game changer in the world of facts. I'm sure that even the Pope likes pussy, but took a vow not to chase it. What the fuck are you doing other than posturing?

And some of you chicks are too fucking old to be trying to compete with the yoga-fied bodies of younger women. It's really embarrassing, so clean that shit up.

What else is there to you?

I can't see anything wrong with this thread so I'm not sure why it'd be reported? He's stating his opinion.

Personally, I couldn't care less what people do or say on here. If they want to post selfies all day long, there's an audience for that here. If they want to come and chat about politics, sports, cars, news, etc...there's an audience here for that as well. Hell, there's even members who are willing to cosign posters who are hell bent on talking shit about bm...on a site for bm.

Whether the stuff people post is true or straight bullshit, idgaf. At the end of the day, this is an online (anonymous) forum. It really shouldn't be taken that seriously. Nobody here affects our real lives, so what they post isn't really all that important in the grand scheme of things imo.

What we see from people here is only what they want us to see...the edited version of themselves. I hope that everyone here has more to offer than what meets the eye. They certainly don't owe it to us though to prove that they do. If there's nothing more to some than the one dimensional character they portray on here, so be it. I'm too focused on where I'm headed to really worry/wonder about what people here have to offer. No disrespect meant by any of that, I'm just not in a sugar coating kind of mood ;)

And no matter how old I get, I hope to always strive for a yoga-fied body lol. Competing, no...but women are judged on our looks before anything else (in most every aspect of life), so we have to keep in shape especially as we age!

Why should it get reported? Because of the word "old"? (BTW, I've heard worse). It seems to be a voicing of his opinion. Wanting to read about more positive & productive lifestyles. (That's what I gather). Just raw and uncut.

Yoga fed bodies aren't giving me any competition as far as I'm concerned...they will be lucky when they are 50 to look as good as I do so touché to that BS

Imagine the internet being invented during the 1500s and you'd see a lot of selfies of people smiling with jacked up teeth and wearing clothes that hadn't been washed in months, if ever. The posts would recommend drinking urine to protect against the bubonic plague and what families you should marry into.

In like manner, historians of the future will look at the internet to weigh the social attitudes of the 21st century. How we created value and meaning through electronic means.

So, yes there may be no personal affect to what happens on any particular website which is usually healthy and life-affirming. On the flipside what you read or see online is also reflective of the values in a particular time, hence my medieval example.

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away I showed my pretty ass and the women responded positively. I certainly get how external validation can put a spring in your step.

The point that I am (laboriously) trying to make is that there are other means for revealing one's self-value. I don't want to beat up on anyone's idea of fun but am also challenging people's assumptions about how they create meaning in their lives.

I can certainly appreciate your point. I guess for me, true value and meaning in life isn't created through electronic means so I don't put much stock into what people online do or say. You have an interesting point though about how it'll portray the collective social attitudes of our time. Never really thought of it that way.

I respectfully request that you consider showing it once again...some of us weren't around way back when ;)

Jmo but the ways to really show your self value don't include an Internet forum. Don't get me wrong, I love that you're trying to challenge people's thought processes...getting people thinking about how to create meaning in their lives is never a bad thing. Personally I hope they find ways to create value in their lives from somewhere other than behind a keyboard.

    lack of depth?
Within days of finding this site I was hit with in-'depth' insight on macroeconomics (I think), 18 ugly truths (raw 'depths') about modern dating, heard Sterling's stomach-rolling voice before any of my friends did, bang-snapped a fight over Nigerian girls, read poster's 'deep' loss of his marriage, saw inspiring pics of some very happy groom, 'deepened' my classic hip hop repertoire, and shared a dbl Chivas OTR with a new friend.
I think the selfies are contained to just a couple threads really-- not hard to avoid (seen instagram? facebook?) (and the posters were a heyyllava lot prettier/better shape than the girls in the porn pics).
I did think there was perhaps a dominant pervasive theme of celebrating all things black (which is terrific, but curious if the same would permeate bw/wm forums?). But I'm glad for the theme; it's what was lacking in my world and sent me to this forum in the first place.
I'm also glad for your stimulating thread, lest I get bored. Stir it up lil darlin.

I don't know if she swings 'that way'... I do encourage you to try though. Take videos and pics if 'it' happens.

No doubt you're the remedy for what's ailing me. But I wasn't seriously interested in a doctor, I was just making a joke on the initial post. So I guess you'll need to do a physical exam - where's your office at?
