Then it was all worth it I'm curious when you were in BK were there any black male nurses? God willing I think that it might be a second act profession for me, even a PA. Provided I can retire by 45 lol
I don't recall if there were any BM nurses, but there were plenty of BM physicians and one super hot BM PA.
Maybe. Maybe not. My bf graduated college, went back for his masters, worked as a cop for a few years, and ended up enlisting and becoming a corpsman to try to get his commision as an officer but he ended up getting screwed over. He's too old (36) to cross over into many rates and they drag their feet about anything he tries to pursue. God is in everything, though. There is a bigger reason and obviously a different calling for him. Hard to see him so frustrated w the navy and all he has to deal with. He's ready to get off the roller coaster.... I served in the navy, work with the army...if you are considering, I would recommend army. Gi bill is a GREAT incentive as well as healthcare, so it's worth considering...
I've been giving it some serious thought the last year, its part of why I decided to get in better shape. Do reservists get the same kind of benefits? I've really been giving thought to the navy, coast guard, and airforce because of it.
I do believe reservists get many of the education and healthcare benefits. Air Force is definitely worth considering. Navy ... Ehhhh. Coast guard is another decent choice.
