GTFOH! That's wild. Man, my honey keeps saying it's a conspiracy to capitulate the Cavs to a championship...Hmmmm....! (guess that's your team, huh Tony)
Haha, you fans are like a cheated-on chick. He went and slept with all of Miami, bought her gifts too!, and you take him back with ya pannies wet. Just kidding luv. Congrats!!
Like the lottery wasn't fixed for this and him. Nothing in billion dollar industries is left to chance. You can't keep having the same story line year after year. You alienate the rest of the fan bases. This is a new (renewed) chapter and people will be watching it closely.
Give me a break "I am coming home" essay, fucken bs..... blah blah blah None of that is why you going bk You going bk there coz: A. it is great for your image to rtn to the team you abandoned B. Cavs are probably the team closet to win an NBA championship with you in addition more than anybody in league. There is no other team he could have gone and have a shot at the title except San Antonio C. Cleveland is one of best team with Irving and Wiggins gives him a chance at the title, who would you rather have young and fresh talented Wiggins and Irving or over rated Bosh and poor beaten Dwayne wade C'mon Bron Bron you can't fool me
Pfffft, he's got nothing to lose. He already formed his super team and got the rings necessary to cement his place in history. Worst case scenario is the Cavs don't win in which case he can say "I gave it my best shot, Ohio" and ride off into the history books with the rings he won in Miami with 2 of the other top 5 picks from his draft class, one of the NBA's deadliest all-time shooters and a cast of underpaid performers who hopped the bandwagon to an easy ring.
Really you think so? How you win counts there's a reason why Jordan is far more remembered over someone like Parish who had more rings. Forming the super team makes you look weak. True fans of the game will look at Lebron as a smarter McGrady, insanely talented but absolutely no heart. It matters, if rings were all that mattered we'd be talking about John Sally in the same breath with Kareem.
Parish only has 4 rings, MJ has 6. I think if you look back, just about every championship team had a Big 3, even Jordan did not win until he got hall of famer Pippen. Kareem has 5 titles and Salley has 4. Not sure where LBJ gets the no heart reputation from, Other than the first Finals series against the Mavs, he has been clutch far more often than not.
Every team has 3 best players, but this term 'big 3' is out of control. Who was the 'big 3' of the 2000 pistons championship teams? Rip Hamilton, Chauncey Billups and.... Ben Wallace? Hardly a big 3. The 98 Spurs was David Robinson, Tim Duncan and.... Vinny Del Negro? Sean Elliot?
It doesn't matter as much as I'd like to think that it does. At the end of the day, when the greats are compared, they list where the players fall as far as their statistical accomplishments and then they say "And he has x rings" with really no consideration to how. Karl Malone, for example, I constantly hear about what a great player he was but he has no rings. Same for Carmelo Anthony, a lot of people were talking about how the Knicks could pay him more, but it's better for his legacy to go to a championship contender. Lebron has nothing to lose and everything to gain in going back to Cleveland.
Sad to say but I think you may be right. Smh I can think of so many dudes who were insanely talented but won't be remembered a generation from now
Hold on who was Pippen before the Bulls? The only legit champ before the Bulls was Rodman. LBJ sportsmanship sucks balls my dude, he inspires nothing. Jordan took a team of otherwise bums and made them better.
If you really mean this , you need to keep your opinions about hoops to yourself, gonna give wiggins this kind of respect b4 1 trip around the league?
Well, to be fair, the Spurs did have one player (Robinson) voted as one of the top 50 players of all time, and another who will be a first ballot hall of famer (Duncan) and very good role players. As far as the pistons, during the 2005–06 season, four of the five Piston starters, Chauncey Billups, Richard Hamilton, Rasheed Wallace, and Ben Wallace, were named to the All-Star team, and Flip Saunders served as the Eastern Conference All-Star team coach. When 4 of your 5 starters are All-Stars, that's a tough squad.
Lol, we agree that LBJ's sportsmanship could use some improving, but remember LBJ took the Cavs to the finals when he was playing with VERY little help. Pippen was not heralded before coming to the Bulls but developed into a hall of famer there. LBJ's stats and the attention he demands from the defense makes everyone he plays with better, there is not a player in the league that other players would like to team up with more than LBJ, he is the only reason that Kevin Love is strongly considering Cleveland, so he does inspire many.
